I'M MARRIED!!!!!!
Yay! as of may 15th I am a wife!!
what a wonderful day! it truly went by in a flash and i enjoyed every minute of it! From getting ready with my best girls and being surrounded by family all week. I did cry during the ceremony even though i tried my best (he even cried a little). Everything went great, nothing really stuck out at me as going horrible wrong..lol...we had a slight problem with the cake sliding...lol...so we cut it early, no big deal! Oh and we forgot to put the bathroom baskets out, which disappointed me a little but i got over it :) Everyone had such a good time dancing and having fun! we got so many compliments on the little stuff i chose to do like the tears of joy, the glow sticks, the flip flops, camera scavenger hunt and all the homemade stuff i did, and our HUGE candy buffet (we needed 3 tables..lol) There is so much to talk about i dont know where to start so i will continue to add on!

We got It today!!!
got our marriage license this afternoon!!!!
so with 10 days we finally got our marriage license...it took about 20 minutes and $48 later..yay!
May 15th cant come soon enough for me..lol So happy!!!! |

14 days left!
Only 2 weeks left til i'm a MRS.!
I can't believe it, in 2 weeks i will be marrying my best friend! Now the only thing left to do is get our marriage license (on monday) and to relax and wait for our family to come and enjoy everything! with everything organized next week i will be calling and confirming everything!
I do find myself wondering if there is anything i could be doing or changing in the wedding...lol..i think i could drive myself mad if my FH wasn't so calming <3 How about any other brides close to your wedding date? how's everything coming? I can't wait!!! |

When do I give the Bridal Party/Parent Gifts??
With 22 days i realize i dont know when to do this? So when is the best time to give the gifts out??? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated, because i have no clue! What are you girls doing? And what did you get your bridal party? I got,
My Girls/Mothers: Personalized pink totes,Bridesmaid T-shirts mani/pedi gift certifacate, wedding day jewelery, bridesmaid survival kits, picture frame, candles with their first initial on it The Guys/Dads: Personalized keychain, money clip, cuff links, gift card to Best Buy (they are all best buy geeks...lol just like my FH :) For the Ushers: a basket of 2 wedding themed dvds and movie candy, etc. |

RSVPs are in early! Seating Chart DONE!
Here is an update of my ribbon seating chart from an earlier post! I am so happy with how it turned out. It will be on a silver easel i purchased at JoAnn's Fabrics a while back! I love it! I had the RSVP date for April 25th, but my guests were all nice enough to send them back early, i didnt even have to hound anyone!

Only 1 Month Left!!!
May 15th brides...almost there!
wow i cant even express to you how fast this went. And now I am down to 1 month! I am so excited and not yet nervous! Bridal Shower went amazing, next up is my 2 bachlorette parties (some cant make it to the first one)
I just finished organizing all the wedding stuff, the itineraries, and the seating chart, i did our vow cards and our thank you sign and organized our rehearsal so i think the only thing left to do is get our marriage license, and enjoy the upcoming parties and arrivals of our family and friends! I Cant wait to be a MRS.!!! How about my other may brides?!? hows it coming? |

Bridal Shower was Amazing!
It was pink, pink and more pink!
my bridesmaids and my mom threw me a surprise bridal shower on sunday and i loved every minute! They did such a great job decorating and the food was so good, all of my favorites. One of my girls made me a pink barbie cake and it was so cute and tasted great! from the cute chocolate lollipops of me and my fiancee to all the door prizes and games and ALL the wonderful presents, i had such a wonderful and loving day! It has made me that more excited to get married!!
30 days and counting and i am surprising calm with very little to do. Next up is the Bachlorette party on the 23rd! I am getting very excited! Now all i have to do is find a place for all of my new presents :) |

My jewelry came today!!!
I ordered my jewelry on ebay and it came today! I got my necklace and earring set for only $16.99 with free shipping from seller e_bride and i found a bracelet on ebay that matched well enough for only $9.99 with free shipping! they are beautiful and i didnt have to spend an arm and a leg! I love ebay..lol
I cant wait to wear them with my dress! May 15th will be here soon!!! |

Only 2 more months!!!
May 15th Brides...we are so close!!
I can not believe how fast the wedding is approaching. I am so excited because i really don't have to much left on my to do list. So now i can just enjoy the next couple of months with my bridal showers and bachlorette parties coming up soon! I am so excited.
To Do Still: Get marriage license Finish Pom Poms (closer to the wedding) finalize the special songs with the DJ *EDIT* DONE Order the tuxedos..(this week) *EDIT* DONE Finish Seating chart (after all RSVPs are in) *EDIT* DONE DIY t-shirts for the bachlorette party *EDIT* DONE Buy a groom's gif t*EDIT* DONE Decide if we should do a brunch the next day or not? how about my other May 15th brides...how excited are we getting!!! |

We are getting married May 2010 and are both very excited. I have decided on a hot pink and clean classic white colored theme. I am also going for a floral undertheme. We would like to keep things simple and elegant. We are planning a relatively smaller wedding with about 80-90 or so guests. Just close friends and family. I am lucky to have a wonderful support system helping with every detail. I want to do as much hands on DIY wedding stuff as i can. I cant wait to start our married life together after 5 years together with a fantastic wedding celebrating our love.
