May 15th Brides! When are you sending out the invites!?!?

I was just wondering when to send out my invites for my May 15th wedding? feedback would be great.

we're getting married May 22nd...i'm planning to have our invitations sent out around March 22nd...so about two months ahead

My wedding is May 23 and I'm planning on mailing our invites out the first week or two of March. Usually, invites are sent out 2 or 3 months before the wedding.

Tradition or "proper etiquette" says to mail them 8 weeks prior to your wedding date

Our date is the 15th - the invites went out about two weeks ago! We have a lot of relatives from out of town so we made sure to send them earlier than "proper etiquette".
