This is kspierling21's Blue Wedding!

My hair is very fine and somewhat short right now. I want to have my hair curly and have even considered extensions to get the look I want but extensions are very pricey. Still having trouble deciding on the style and the length may have something to do with it.

I found these shoes and just LOVED them. I didn't buy them at first and really kicked myself later. I ended up finding them online but I was very scared that I had missed out. I was very happy to find them after some searching around.

I found my invitations at 123print.com. The cost was very low and the quality is excellent. I got all my invites, save the date, RSVP and address labels for under $100!! It was a great deal. I had an issue with the save the date cards but the customer service team helps resolve the issue.

Now, the only issue is having sealed the invites without putting in all the needed info. Anyone know how to unseal a sealed envelope?

Steve is amazing; he planned the whole night out perfectly. He asked me to dinner after work on Friday. When I got home, he handed me a glass of wine and told me to go get ready. I curled my hair and changed; we headed off to dinner. We drove into downtown and parked. I was totally unaware of what was about the happen. We took the ferry from downtown across the bay to Coronado. We had a very nice dinner at il Fornaio. The food was amazing and the view was amazing as well. Totally perfect dinner. We finished dinner and walked around waiting for the ferry to show up. We walked over by the water and Steve asked a couple to take our picture. As he was showing the guy how to use our camera, he also told him that he was about to propose and asked him to take as many pictures as possible. We got some great pictures!! It was the perfect night!!!

I am so thankful for all my bridesmaids. There are 6 and they are all so amazing. My MOH was here this weekend and helped my pick out a veil and helped me get organized! It was great to just have some girl time with her too.

All my bridesmaids are planning my bachelorette party and its all a secret at this point! I know they will do something amazing!!!

Pictured is the dress most will be wearing. The skirt is the same for everyone but the there are a couple different tops the girls chose. The majority went with the pictured top. The dresses will be blue of course

I have gone through several different ideas with the flowers because it is so difficult to find blue flowers. I will be using calla lilies mostly but for blue, I think I will use hydrangea and blue delphinium. The arch will be decorated with the hydrangea mostly in probably blue and white. My mother-in-law has made beautiful arrangements for the chairs out of silk flowers. Calla Lilies and blue hydrangea with a beautiful bow. It will be perfect! The center pieces are going to be amazing! I got the glass for them yesterday. Wal-Mart has amazing prices on vases for anyone who is looking for in inexpensive way to make center pieces. I got large vases for the center pieces $4 each and smaller but the same shape for my bridesmaids to put their bouquets in during dinner, each only $3.

I am so blessed. My mom talked to the woman who did her wedding cake over 30 year ago and now she is going to do my cake too! How cool! I bought this topper, still waiting for it to arrive. It's perfect! I will have Calla Lilies on the cake and, well, everywhere so it was perfect to get this topper. The cake will be square and I am sure she will make it just beautiful. I am not too creative when it come to incorporating all the aspects of the wedding so I am leaving some of the decoration up to my cake lady to decide.

Went to David's Bridal just to get an idea of what I wanted my dress to be. I wanted something slim fitting, not frilly, and for goodness sake no princess style with a long train. Well, I ended up with a beautiful princess like full dress with an amazing train. The dress is perfect!!! It's true, when you know its the right dress, you just know! Well, trying turned to buying and my dress came home with my soon to be mother-in-law. I go to her house to visit it every now and then :)
