Bridesmaid Shirts

I found pink tanks at Kohls the other day for about $5 a piece (on sale) to make my girls their "bridesmaid" tanks. I was pumped cuz they're nice quality and stretchy, which I know I appreciate :).

Then I cut my ribbon and tied it into bows, glued the bows so they wouldn't come undone and put a pin in the back. Then I fixed my "bridesmaid" bling onto the ribbon. Finally, I cut cute ends to the ribbon and painted clear nailpolish on the ends to prevent fraying.

What I love about this is the girls can wear the pins without wearing the tanks. I'm thinking they could wear the pins at bridal showers, bachlorette party, rehearsal, gift opening/brunch, etc. And they get a tank that they can wear again that doesn't have "Bridesmaid" stuck to it.

I think they turned out pretty cute. I bought white tanks for me and a "bride" bling. Just gotta get white ribbon...

I made the ribbon bows. You can buy tank tops like this - check some of my older posts for where I got the idea.

Also, I got the rhinestones at Joann Fabrics.

Love these ksugar!!  I was going to make something similar, but yours are way cuter.  I bought some bridesmaid ribbon at Michael's to tie onto the shirts, but I love the bling.  Did the rhinestones come pre-formed into the words "bridesmaid" or did you stick each one individually?
