What is your makeup must haves for wedding day?

I am considering doing my own make up and/or buying high quality products for the bridesmaids to also do their makeup. They were a lil' shocked with the price of hair and makeup for W-day (about $100 before tip/ea).

I saw some great tutorials from Kandee Johnson, and she lists some products but I don't wear makeup too often, and when I do its Bare Minerals - which I've heard is not good for wedding day photos (causes glares/washes out).

So - for those of you that will be/do your makeup (wedding day or daily :)) or just know great products -

What are your recommendations for GREAT quality make up that will stay put all day and look good in photographs?

A couple of my favorites are: Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion, use this before any eye makeup. I also love the Urban Decay eyeshadow, but without any sparkle for the wedding. Buy a waterproof black eye liner and mascara. My favorite mascara is Full and Soft in very black. I would suggest also using a foundation primer before any foundation. I hope this helps you!

I don't really wear make up, just cover up if needed, and mineral powder.
I got Smashbox tinted moisturizer and their halo hydrating powder for my wedding, both from their photo finish line. That, with my Burt's bee's rose lip balm, was it! lol

my favourite things in my makeup kit are smashbox photo finish primer & lancome eyeshadows. I'm heading down to lancome later to get a new foundation, concealer & powder too since I want my skin to look completely flawless.

I'm doing my own makeup too. Here's my plan: I'm hitting up the MAC and Bobbi Brown counter (separate days) and telling them to give me a bridal look, tell them to SHOW ME what they are doing (so I can do it myself) and will pick and choose my favorites after seeing how they wear all day. My guess is that I'll lean toward the MAC eye products, and the Bobbi Brown blushes and lip colors??

Other fave fave faves (all available at Sephora) are:

Smashbox EyeShadow trios. (Center Stage is great for brides - I've used it on 2 friends for their wedding makeup. Head Shot is another great bridal option, and I've also combined the two.)

Seconding FurtureMrsWelkie on the Urban Decay Shadow Primer - you eyeshadow will not budge with this stuff! is another great option too. Just depends if you prefer a wand or a tube...

And my favorite mascara is Lancome. Just pick and choose whatever formula best suits your needs. I don't need extra length, just volume, and my go-to mascara is the Hypnose Waterproof Mascara.

The most important thing is to have fun with it! :)
