I had my hair trial on Wednesday, and thought I would share it! I brought a picture from a magazine, and she did her own twist on it. What do you ladies think?

My fuchsia wedding shoes!!!
I bought another pair...love them!
I was at the outlet mall, and fell in love with these fuchsia heels. I already bought a different pair, but I really loved these (from Nine West). The best part is that Nine West carries size 11. If anyone is interested in my old pair (brand new) they are up for sale for $20! I am wearing these, and my whole wedding party is also rocking fuchsia heels with their Ann Taylor knee length black dresses.

Wedding Invitation
Our damask rehearsal dinner invites
Hi Ladies!

I bought these invites from Hobby Lobby and had them professionally printed for my rehearsal dinner. I bought them when they were 50% off, so I paid $20 for 50. The original use for them was for wedding invites, so I actually used the response cards for Thank yous for my bridal shower! They are beautiful, and the black is actually velvet. I just bought the ribbon for .50 from Michaels. Highly recommended!

Black and White Parasol/Pearl Earrings for bridesmaids
I was buying a few things from theknot.com's wedding store, and I happened to find this adorable parasol! I wasn't planning on getting one, but it was only $6.99. I figured it would be cute for pictures.

I also found these cute pearl earrings. They come in four different colors and are on clearance for $9.99. They are real pearls and made with sterling silver, come in an organza bag and a gift box. I was done with my girls, but these were such a great deal, and I really wanted to get them some sort of jewelry. I got them in the classic white color.

There is also a sale going on with that site that if you spend over $150 you get an additonal 20% off.

Wedding Invitation
Here are my invites...officially in the mail! Brides Pocket Invites from Michaels.
First, THANK YOU to Aug2410bride for giving me the idea to use the ribbon. I originally wanted to find a paper seal that when all the way around, but loved this look, and it incorporated my pink.

Here is what my invites look like. They are the damask BRIDES pocket invites from Michaels. I modeled my text after an invite I found in Modern Bride magazine last year. (you will see three different fonts.)

I am really happy with them, and they were very affordable!

Invites: $104 (I bought 120 total, with 40% off coupons)

Stamps: $105 ( I need to get 15 more of the .61 and .44 because we ran out...thanks to the growing guest list!)

Printing: $50 (A local bridal shop did it for me)

Ribbon: $15 (I'm heading back yet again today because I ran out AGAIN)

Envelopes: $15 (Size A8 white envelopes purchased from the bridal shop that did my printing. I asked her, and by chance she had them! This lady has EVERYTHING!!!)

Inner Envelope Seals: $5 (Big Lots) (I put the ones that came with the invites on my outer envelope).

Total: $304 purchased, printed at mailed for 190ish guests!

Much better than the quote we got to get them professionally done.

My only complaint: Some of the invitations came with the "extra postage required" stamp on the front, and some did not. The ones with the stamp came with tissue paper inside, the ones that didn't, did not. Annoying, because the packaging was exactly the same!

Bridal Shower
The girls at work threw me a surprise shower!
I am a teacher in a building that is K-2nd grade in New York City. All the teachers at paraprofessionals threw a surprise shower for myself and another fellow teacher who gets married a few months earlier than me. It was so sweet!

The kids made all of the decorations. They did a ABCD theme (hence we are teachers) and each person was assigned a letter or two. We them received gifts related to that letter. It was a lot of fun! I also received some gift cards, and they had a huge lunch spread. So fun!

DIY Wedding
Inexpensive personalized DIY metal water bottles
I really wanted to put monogrammed metal water bottles into my girls gift bags. The cheapest I found were about $5. With 9 girls, that adds up for a little bag filler! (I have already spent quite a bit).

I found these metal water bottles at the Dollar Tree in hot pink (one of my accent colors). I bought scrapbooking letter stickers from AC Moore (3.49 for the pack).

I made each girl in the bridal party a personalized water bottle, as well as my mom and my FMIL.

I think they turned our adorable, and the best is that they were about 1.25 each! :)

Good deal...Coach Wristlets!
I went Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets (Best Outlets EVER!!! If you are in the NYC area it's a must visit!!!) and went to the Coach outlet. They had these wristlets on sale for $29. They also gave you a 20% off coupon when you entered. So, I got all of my girls these wristlets to put in their gift bags for only $23 each. (I had to buy 9!) I think they will look cute with their black dresses if they choose to wear them that day, and after of course! My gift bags are (ALMOST) complete.

How much are you ladies spending as a dollar amount on each girl, especially if you have a big wedding party like I do?
