Wedding Invitation
Would love some feedback on these? Just finished a sample of my invites!!!

Hello Ladies,

Okay, so I just finished a sample of my invites and I would like your honest opinions. I tried to get as close a photo as I could.

We decided we wanted something unique and different for our invitations, so we brought black plexiglass and we designed our invitations and had the words and monogram etched into the glass. Then we went to Hobby Lobby and brought silver rub and buff (which is a type of paint you rub onto things and then buff off). We rubbed the paints into the grooves of the etchings and then buffed it off leaving the wording and monogram to appear in silver.

This is our first one, so it is a little rough, but we are getting the hang of it. What do you guys think?

@ missnatasha- they are very easy to send. It is not that thick, maybe about a centimeter or two in thickness. I took it to the post office to get it weighed and I will need 3 stamps for each invitation (this is including the rsvp, etc). So the money that I saved in doing the invites this way, I put towards the shipping costs for each, lol!

This is very unique and I love it. I like the black plexiglass with white writing...really stand and can make for a nice keepsake :-)

I was wondering if it would be expensive to mail. I think it's a fair deal.

@glamdivabride- thanks! I was a little worried about the Vostok as well but they are very lightweight. We are definitely keeping one as a keepsake.

I think that they are beautiful... I too was wondering about the shipping costs. Lol. What kind of envelope are you going to do? Maybe some of those designer bubble envelopes would be nice.You gota make sure that it doesn't break during shipment. But AWESOME work lady :-)
