This Aisle Runner is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (see attached & below) I've seen tons of really talented ladies make Aisle Runner Monograms and what not...but does anyone know how to do a continuous print? (Obviously doing this by hand would be out of the question...) For the one below I was thinking I could get fabric and sew the damask border onto a regular runner. I've seen full on damask print runners on etsy and what not but I think those would be a lil too much since I intend on having rose petals as well. Anyone seen any for sale like this?
But I REALLY REALLY LOVE the one in the attached pic and was wondering if anyone has some suggestions on how I could do this myself.
i don't know how to make one of these but I just wanted to say this is the most gorgeous runner I have ever seen! i can't wait to see how it turns out after you make it :)
futuremrscarrejola: Thanks!!! Isn't it gorgeous?! I almost fell out of my chair when I saw it. I LOVE IT. But I'm struggling on how to do this bad boy. I think I'll print it out & take it to JoAnn's or Michael's and see if they can help me figure it out. I'll let you know =)
I'm gonig to do a search and try and find a stamping roller with the damask print on it. It was a larger one and I hope I can still find it for you! I think I saved it to my favorites on my mac at home... I'll let you know. If not search for one online. I think it was 5 inches wide... perfect for this DIY runner! I really really hope I can find it for you! lol
I'm so pissed I didn't bookmark the damask roller stamper! I searched high and low and couldn't find it... so frustrating!!! :0( Sorry girly! As for the show in SD< I'll look into it and let you know if I can go! :0)
I can make this.. but if you want to do it on your own, this fabric is called "Waverly Essence Sun n Shade Onyx". It usually costs about $10/yard and you'll need about half the number of yards of fabric than the isle runner itself. You can get the fabric at Jo-Ann but you might want to wait for the 50% off sale because it's 19.99 regular.
OH WOW!! this is gorgeous!! I am sooooo stealing this idea! OK, the help you out, I agree with heather, the best and easy way is probably to get a damask fabric and saw/glue it on.
pb2myj: thank you!!!! hope we can find something. that would be awesome. thank you!!!!
