I LOVE the look of these masque veils....soooooooooooooo mysterious and yet very elegant. I even love the lil black rhinestones on the front of the veil in addition to the brooches on the sides.

I think this would be the PERFECT accent to my dress. I really want to DIY this or at least try to before I invest a boatload of money into buying one of these.

Anyone know where I can get some nice black bird cage material so I can try to make one? I already have some awesome brooches that one of my BM's picked up for me that I could use for the side pieces of the veil, check out the last pic.

Any suggestions you guys have is greatly appreciated!!

lol, i actually had that first one (also in second pic) made for my sister (MOH) for my wedding! I got it without the veil though..even though i loved it..but i wanted to be the only one with a veil, lol. she can make it with a veil though. I had it custom made @ torturecouture.com for $25 or $30 (don't remember exactly)...i got most of the BM's fascinators their also, they all had a different one, and they were $20 each. They were well made, and she even threw in a few free goodies for me. If you decide to get order anything from her, tell her Chrissy sent you. I'd say it'll cost almost the same amount to make it as it would be to buy it...if you're using quality materials. I have made a few fascinators myself now, so if you have any questions let me know. ohh, and i get my supplies @ Sussman's bridal supply...the prices are pretty good and they have a pretty good selection...but i don't know if you have a sussmans where you are. You can try a fabric store?

retrobride: thanks so much for the info!!! have you seen them create any veils that are like these masque veils? i checked their site & saw regular birdcage veils and gorgeous fascinators & jewelry but haven't seen any masque veils where they just cover the eyes.

by chance do you have pix of the one she made for your MOH?

no prob! I will look through my pics to find one of that fascinator. And yes, she can make that veil. All the fascinators i ordered were CUSTOM MADE..so they're not on her site. Talk to you soon .

i am not sure how to make this because I am not overly creative, but this will look SOOOO HOTTTT with your dress! I love your ideas and your wedding day look so much. one things for sure you have AMAZING taste! i can't wait to hear how this turns out.

So are you excited?! You're almost there!!! I feel like I have forever and a day till our wedding *which is good...and bad*.

I actually have the 5th one but in cream for my wedding with a pearl and crystal comb. I love it so much, I ordered it off the site and found her great to deal with and pretty reasonable pricing compared to other sites. She had quick shipping to for something made to order. Any way if you go that way or order from that site i subjest it she is awsome.
