This is laceyvpresents's Pink Wedding!

Okay, so I'm not fat or anything, but yes... I'd like to lose a little bit of weight. Maybe 5, possibly 10 pounds. Especially before my big day. I have a lot of time ahead of me so I figured if I start now, I'll be good.

My plan to lose weight is below, if any of you have suggestions or comments, feel free. I'm always looking for more ideas.

Food Wise
For the most part, I plan to eat what I want, but limit myself to sweets only on Saturday nights, which is usually our movie night and we like to eat candy and such. But, along with that, I'll have to limit how much exactly I'll be consuming.
Personally, I think the way that I eat is fine. I wake up in the morning, have a bowl of Special K cereal, for lunch I either make a sandwich or get a Subway sandwich, and for dinner I eat plenty of vegetables and really not that much meat. And I honestly don't snack that much. Maybe on a bad day I'll have two snacks just to keep my energy up... but it's usually either a piece of fruit or some crackers, salt free might I add.
So from now on I'm lowering my caloric intake to 1500. I think that will suffice. I'm also going to start eating a lot more fruits and vegetables, because not only is it good for you, some of the stuff you can make is incredibly delicious.

Drink Wise
I'm not the type of person that drinks pop a whole lot. I drink at the most two a day, and that's on a bad day. I mostly drink either water, Propel, Life Water, or Green Tea.
So for this section of my weight loss I plan to start juicing to provide myself with more fruits and vegetables in my diet. I think it's a wonderful idea.

Exercise
I'm not really that big on exercise, but I do at least 30 minutes of Pilates 2-3 days a week.

I aim to change that and with that, I'm going to start doing the Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease videos, which I have... just never really used. I think it's perfect because not only will I be getting in shape, I'll learn things to make the hubby to be happy in the bedroom ;). (Not that he isn't, mind you.)

Anyways, this is my plan and again, if you have any suggestions or comments, go for it. I'd love to hear from you.

Yeah, Travvy had his heart set on Florida, but everything we were going to do in Florida was much cheaper in Cancun. Plus, I can drink in Cancun... can't in Florida... and of course I'm going to want a nice big margarita on my honeymoon damnit!

I guess we're going to spend six days in Cancun and on the way home, stay at Lake El Salto for a night and catch those monster bass. Travis has been going on and on about wanting to go there and now he can. Plus, if I get sick of fishing, I can just go back to the room and get a drink.

And I guess in Cancun we're going to swim with the dolphins (which I've wanted to do since I was a little girl) and hit up the water park down there. I'm not sure what hotel we'll be staying at, but it'll be a nice one.

I'm so excited, we're going to book the trip 300 days in advance, so I have 36 days until we can book it. Hell yeah, I'm so excited.

Not only are these guys the groomsmen, they'll also be playing at our wedding. We're their most dedicated fans and best friends and we love them like they're family. Can't wait to see what these guys look like in a tux.

Okay... so this was a really hard decision, but I finally made it... so yay. Now all I have to think of are dresses. I'm not sure all these girls will be comfortable in pink, haha. And the reason I have 5 bridesmaids... is because there is a whole band that's going to be Travis's groomsmen. I'll post them tomorrow.

Okay, so first... let me say that I'm really infatuated with this first cake. It's absolutely gorgeous. And another thing I love about it is the "B" cake topper, which is actually my last initial... and will be even when I'm married. It made my day.

But as far as me being able to get this cake, I'm not so sure. I have to take this picture and see if my grandmother will be able to make this for me. If not, I might just end up hiring someone to make it... I'm just trying to make this as cheap as possible, without it being tacky. Hey, I want to have a good honeymoon.

So technically Travis and I aren't engaged yet, but we've already started planning and of course, set a date.

We have, however, picked out my engagement ring and my wedding band. He doesn't know what ring he's getting yet... and luckily he doesn't know about this blog so I'm going to post pictures of the rings. The only one not shown is my wedding band, because I couldn't find a picture of it.

I seriously love the engagement ring, though... my god... it's beautiful. It doesn't look all that snazzy, but for that 5 minutes it was on my finger... I felt like a princess.

For his ring, I'm going pretty cheap because he works construction and there's a possible chance he'll either lose it or mess it up... so it can easily be replaced. I will be so mad at him if he loses it, though. UGH.

Anyway, as far as the engagement goes, it will be soon, but he's going to surprise me, of course... so it will take some time. After the official engagement, we'll be going to our friend's mom and having her do some engagement photos for us.

I think it's really awesome to try to add as much pink as possible to your wedding attire... other than going all out and getting a pink wedding dress.

I, personally, am trying to get my wedding dress to have instead of black trim, hot pink trim... much like the second picture. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with pink shoes and a pink slip, like most of you.

But, I want to do something out of the ordinary... I want to wear pink converse chuck taylors with my wedding dress for the reception, that way my feet won't be killing me after the wedding.

Plus, I'm a huge fan of converse, I pretty much wear them everyday. What do you ladies think? Bad Idea? Good Idea?

So I'm contemplating between having the tables either mostly pink, mostly white, or mostly black.

As some of you know, I'm a huge fan of the color black, but I don't want TOO much of it in my wedding... it's not a funeral for crying out loud.

But I am sure on one thing... I want to have long, rectangular reception tables instead of a bunch of round ones. It's a lot cheaper, anyway... when you're renting them.

I'm saying this now... just in case I change my mind in the next 341 days... haha.

Our colors and prints are going to be.
- Hot Pink.
- Candy Pink.
- Black.
- White.
- Damask.

And for the damask, I'm pretty sure it's going to be on napkins, the table runners, and invitations, among other things.

So far I've found this jewelry and these flowers to go along with my pink wedding. I'm not 100% sure that this is what I'm going with, but it's an idea.

My grandmother is going to be doing my flower arrangements, bouquets, and my cake... so I'm not too worried about it.

As for the jewelry, I'm getting pink magnetic studs to go above my gauged ears. It's more simple, anyway.

Isn't it beautiful? I always wanted a little bit of black in my wedding dress... and with this particular dress, I can.

I'm sort of waiting until I try it on... because nothing looks the same as it does on a model.... but if the dress fits, I'm ordering it that day. No doubt.
