actually, it isn't all that odd in my circle of friends. One of my bridesmaid's sister had a vampire wedding. It seems normal enough to me.

Okay, yes... I am aware that some of these things ARE NOT wedding related... but to make up for that, the majority of them ARE wedding related.
I'm sort of a weird person... well not really, but I like weird things and I have a unique taste. I think that these ideas would be really awesome, and I would totally use them if my grandparents weren't going to help me run this wedding. My Papa's the minister, my Nana's the cake maker, flower arranger. Plus, I want to surprise them with the "unweirdest" weird wedding. My whole family thinks that I'm the weird one in the bunch. Seriously, no one else in my family dyes their hair black or wears black clothes all the time. I'm not gothic or anything like that... don't say that stuff. I just LOVE black. I'm also terribly obsessed with Tim Burton films. But you have to understand Travis and I before you judge. We're both big into concerts, rocking out, tattoos, piercings, and anything that has to do with skulls, dragons, or blood. Yeah... I know what you're thinking... but you should see our house... it's crazy. So yes, I'm still going to go a bit weird on everyone, but it's MY wedding so I'm not too concerned. These ideas are really cool though, and if I wanted to completely be myself for this wedding, I'd definitely use some of them. |

I love the cakes!!! amazing! i LOVE LOVE LOVE Tim Burton aswell. growing up my room was decorated in night mare before christmas with murals all over the walls! And My Fh and I were Jack and Sally last halloween. I joked back than i was going to wear my scrap dress for the reception. I think that if you have the imagination and the time to make it happen it would look amazing having these little touched incorperated into you wedding. Wedding are supposed to be about the bride and the groom anyways so why not?!? If this is something you love and your interested in i think it will look amazing. and you know what i was just thinking, You know how in almost every wedding they have the white twinkly lights, go and get the purple and pink ones they sell around halloween to help decorate you reception area!! last yr i went to walmart after halloween and got 4 strans of the purple twinkly lights for 2 bucks each!! and Since your not getting married until nxt april you have this halloween to look for lights :) just a little suggestion..
