Thank You Gifts for Parents

In addition to a wedding album , I've decided to give each of my parents a special thank you gift. The first is a frame for my dad (with a pic of course) that he can put on his desk at the office with a little devotion from me to him. It says: "To My Father: The man of my dreams is so special because he shares your finest qualities; and even though I will be a married woman soon, I will always be Daddy's Girl." The second is for my mom. She LOVES puzzles. So when I saw this, I knew immediately this was what I'll be getting her. I found this on www.personalizationmall.com

They won't get them until after the wedding since I'll be using the wedding pics. So, I know it'll be a total delight when they receive it.

Is anyone else giving their parents a special gift? If so, what ideas have you come up with?

I'm making a coffee table photo album from Blurb.com of my family's trip to France a couple of years ago, which was my mom's childhood dream to finally be able to go there one day.  I actually found out about this website through one of the photographers I was considering, and she told me to go there so that I could make my own photo album of our wedding pictures...so I'm gonna be doing that too but I couldn't wait til then to get started on making one of these books and also this way I get to see what one will look like before I actually make our wedding photo book.  So they'll get the book with our photos from France as a thank you gift, and then hopefully by the time of their anniversary and my dad's birthday in August the photo book of our wedding will be made (our wedding is in May, so I'm hoping it can get done in that amount of time)!!

i love your saying for your father! (my dad is so worried i wont be his "little girl" after i get married) pft! yah right! LOL

I used to do jigsaws for christmas presents for kids and they were a big hit

Wow you found great gifts I really have no idea! I lke the frame to but I have never really had a sentimental relationship with my dad even though I am a daddy's little girl. They are doing a lot of house decorating though so I thought I might see what they do and maybe get some nice peice for the house.
