Boys, Boys, Boys! pro pics
the groom and his guys. Oh boys!
I had a casual wedding so as you can see, my groom wore brown and his guys did not wear full suits, but cinnamon colored paisley vests and ties, because me and Elliott are freaks for victorian and western style clothing and he picked these out without me, so I trust him ALOT. www.therestlessone.com (photographer) |

Wedding Cake
Tea Party Funky Cake
from the victorian style hat down to the teacups with cupcakes. Under the tea party hat is white gloves and pearls out of icing. I was so excited about this. It was probably my favorite thing about the wedding. For flavors we had Strawberry and chocolate and our saved layer is vanilla. The strawberry was fantastic. And it is made with buttercream except for the hat and detail on top. On the actual cake layers there is a lace texture. and no need for a cake topper with this crazy thing.
Our cake table also had my Royal Albert gold rose tea set. This was a steal at TJ-Maxx for just $40. I couldn't pass that up. |

Wedding Reception
Groom plays a song...
My groom played me "Baby I'm amazed" by Paul McCartney during our reception. It was fantastic. His best man played piano with him and he played it on guitar and sang. I'll post a video eventually.

Wedding Reception
Sweetheart Table
We just put a tiny garden table in between two long tables so that family and wedding party could sit near if they wanted. He and I only sat down while my dad was giving a toast though. We were too busy greeting people and too excited bouncing around. Anyway, I really wanted to decorate with Lattice and daisies so here's our little table.

Wedding Cake
Grooms Table for Jack White
White Stripes inspired: My husband is told all the time that he looks like Jack White and he really likes Jack White and all of his bands including the White Stripes so I decided to give him a Grooms table inspired by that. I covered the table with some cool red fabric and a runner of music note fabric. The bass drum was one I found in his room and ripped the shiny orange plastic off of and painted it red and the rims black. Then I hung pictures of him throughout his life playing musical instruments from guitar strings inside. The white guitar cake has his name on it and the red has mine on it. I really had wanted to have a big picture take of us posing like the "White Elephant" album cover, but ran out of time. I also put his top hat out and some yummy jones soda cans in red. plus red and white striped straws.
I'll post my inspiration cakes for you too. P.s. husband is left handed, but I didn't want to explain to the cake lady how to make it left handed. We loved the turnout. plus.. under the fondant was buttercream icing so to make the cake tasty, we just pulled the layer of fondant off. |

Ceremony
washing feet
we washed each others feet during the ceremony. We wanted to pass up the candle lighting and sandpouring tradition. This said more to us.
