At home Reception ?
After a destination wedding ...
hello hello! Keith and I are getting married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on May 22 and are doing the whole, traditional wedding with a Ceremony and Reception and a Sunday Brunch before everybody leaves the island! But - there are 50 people coming out of the 110 invited ! I know that everyone would like to be there but since several can't make it : we are having an At Home Reception when we get back as well. Is anybody else doing something like this? or having their reception at their house?

We're planning on having a brunch style party with several different kinds of quiche, frittatas, grilled asparagus/vegetables, and roasted potatoes. Along with lots of Champagne and a big beautiful cake (photo) ... figure if it starts at 11:30am it'll be late enough to drink, but early enough to keep it light! :) anybody have ideas? favors?

I am having an at home reception too.  The park where we are having our ceremony limited us to having 10 people on top of the waterfall.  I think an at home reception is a great solution, and it allows everyone to celebrate with you!
