Destination Wedding/At-Home Reception:
Do you wear the same dress?

Hi ladies!

I am wondering, for those DW brides...

Are you planning to wear the same dress to the wedding and the at-home reception?

Is it considered tacky to do so?

I want pics with my grandparents in my pretty dress, for example, but know that they won't be able to handle a trip to Mexico for the wedding itself...what are your thoughts?

Acceptable or inappropro?

I think you should wear the dress again. If you were wanting to have the reception more laid back, you can always change after the 1st dances/pics.
