Is your wedding party helping?
Im stressed and wondering what exactly is the wedding party's role? I have six bridesmaids including my sister who is the moh and my wedding is in 3 months and i have yet to have any help from any of them , well one is trying to help but she feels like she is stepping on my sisters toes if she does help me..With all of this i am planning this all by myself no help and it would be nice to have someones input or help sometime. Now im trying to think of their gift for being in my wedding but at this time i dont think they deserve much :( and its hard to justify nice gifts. They are excited for the bachlorette party but they never ask me if they can help or do anything is this normal? Any advice is appreciated,

Seated dinner or Buffet?
Hello out there I need some help, I want to have a formal upscale evening for my wedding and to me that means a seated dinner. But im thinking about the other option of a buffet with the buffet i dont have to hunt people down if they dont return the menu option card and with the buffet the food will remain hot if were running alittle late with our pictures. But at our venue its the same price per person to have it seated or buffet. Also the caterer has made it clear that if we have a seated dinner and we are late the food will be cold, that would be aweful... So im torn do i add extra work and stress on my self for what i really want or do i make it alittle easier and have a buffet? Oh bye the way were looking at 175 people..
Any advise would be great.. |

Wedding Invitation
Invites Ordered !!
I can finally cross some things off of my list I chose my wedding colors they are platinum and red im going for elegant, romantic, sexy.
I just ordered my invites and rsvp cards they will be back in a week im excited to see the finished product. I booked my ceremony musician we will have two violinist's. Now im on to the cake and finding affordable linens any one know where i can find an affordiable cake or linens in Jax? |

4 MONTHS TO GO !!
SO STRESSED ...
The photos show pictures of two possible ceremony locations the first is on a deck my fh likes this better the second is just a few feet away and is just grass on the water as well. I prefer the grass because it has more room on the deck were limited on space but it is beautiful. So tomorrow marks 4 months to the day and i feel like im behind with my planning. I wish i knew where i was with my planning as compared to where i should be.. I have: Book my ceremony and reception venue Booked my photographer Ordered my dress Completed pre marital counseling Attained the caterer Almost finialized the guest list Have the bm's dress picked out Picked the pastor for our ceremony reserved a block of hotel rooms for family/ friends finished wedding website I still have to: Take engagement photos Order and send out save the dates PICK MY COLORS order invitations order cake finalize the gues list start favors work on centerpieces / wedding decorations hire wedding day hair/ makeup persons get accessories for the big day decide on my wedding party and parents gifts and so much more... Im so stressed at this point. This week im working on save the dates and invitations and im still having a hard time finding something i like at an affordiable price i may have to look into diy projects now... Any advice or guidance is appreciated. |

Finally something to cross off my check list its almost 4 months to go and i feel like I have so much that needs to be done.. Atleast our counseling is done and our pastor at our church has agreed to marry us..Yay
