I won 2 free tickets to go to a wedding festival in town for this past Thursday. My FH wanted to come with me (I don't know a lot of men that WANT to go). On our ride there we decided on our colors for the wedding!
Sapphire-September's birthstone, for when we got engaged.
Blue topaz-December's birthstone, for when we are getting married.

I am so excited to have chosen our colors. Even though we have 3 years until the wedding, we are excited to begin planning. This way we can take our time, possibly find deals on the things we want & stress is a lot less!!
The festival was also very helpful in thinking about things we want for our wedding, like dj/live music... We both wanted live music but it is SOO much more expensive. FH even said he wouldn't mind going to more festivals to help get ideas for ours. :) He's amazing!
