Since we are having a winter wedding, what is more appropriate than having a hot chocolate bar?!

Still trying to figure out what to do for mugs... Wondering if we could get them in bulk & let that be their favor maybe?? (If they were winter-y)

Here's what will be offered:

Hot chocolate-Milk or white chocolate (with milk or water)
Mini marshmallows
Peppermint sticks
Snowflake sprinkles
Flavored syrups
Cinnamon sticks
Whipped cream
Chocolate chips
Caramel squares
Chopped up candy bars

Also got the idea for the marshmallow stirrers from a girl's birthday party!

Please feel free to give suggestions!!

mmm, my mom does this every year for our family Christmas get together. (60 of us, ugh :P)
She also puts out some spices, like cayenne and cardamom, can't say as I like them too much, but some people seem to love it, lol.

what I good idea! We are having a summer wedding but I think it could be great for us too cause we thinking having a brunch wedding. It could be nice for a late evening treat too. ;)

I'm doing this too for my wedding! I just made a post about it as a matter of fact. Please tell me when are you actually serving the hot cocoa and where can I get marshmallow stirrers? Are you serving with milk or water and are you hiring someone to maintain it or no?

White hot chocolate might also be a great addition as yet another option.

I didn't think about spices... Not sure what ppl would like, but maybe I'll survey some of our guests.
Hot chocolate is good anytime to me! The marshmallow stirrers were a DIY thing I saw posted somewhere... It didn't say what they used, but looks like they are the giant marshmallows on stirrers dipped in chocolate with sprinkles so it looked easy to make.
& at the moment, we aren't sure what we are doing for our reception as for caterers but I think it will just be a 'Build your own' type of thing.
