 on the way to the ceremony I DID IT!! My blonde moment (after the ceremony) Our photographer Joshua Albanese is amazing! THIRSTY!! some of my girls I loved out cake (w/ my DIY cake topper) looking at the candy buffet escort cards I LOVE THE CANDY BUFFET!!! I couldn't have asked for anything more! the room looked amazing! I loved my tall centerpieces my mom with 2 of my fav girlies!! me w /fg & rb                               |

Wedding Blues
Yesterday marked 4 weeks since our wedding. It couldn't have been a more perfect day yet now that it's over I'm so emotional when I think about all the planning being over. I look at all my leftover supplies and items I have left and it gets me so sad. I couldn't wait to post pictures to all of you but everytime I try I just break down!!
Has this happened to any of you? How did you get over it? Or am I just being silly? Please help!! |

Garter- CHECK!!
After months of looking at it I finally purchased my garter today! I feel like this week I'm diong really good and I'm geting things done. Maybe because I've realized my wedding is in 30 days!! OMG!!
I can't wait until my fiance sees it. I'm a huge HUGE Chicago Cubs fan and he is a die hard Chicago White Sox fan! lol What can I say... it's my something blue! : ) |

Cake topper- CHECK!
I finally decided on a font for out cake topper. I know 30 days to go and I'm just now ordering this... I need my head examined!
It's the Walt Disney font! I ordered it from Craftyeddy and he finsihed and shipped it the same day! I can't wait to get it. Now I just have to decorate it! (Why didn't I buy this at least 3 months ago! lol) |

How would you feel if your maid of honor bought a different dress to wear at the reception?
How would you feel if your maid of honor was also your sister and she did this?? I don't even have the words to describe how pissed and irritated I am still. Last night I find out that my sister who is also my maid of honor ( I also have a matron of honor) bought a totally different dress to wear at the reception. Not only is it completely different but it's completely flashy and has nothing to do with the wedding colors. WHY?? I mean seriously!?! Why is it she feels like she needs to stand out? My matron of honor was 150% appauled by this. I've stood up in 6 weddings and I have been in some ugly dresses before but I wore them and never said a word about it because it was what the bride wanted and it was her day. Only one word comes to mind and that is selfish. She actually said to me when am I ever going to get dresses up again. Seriously!!!! Aer you kidding me? (she's not married, my brother still has plenty of time before he gets married, he just turned 21, and half of my sisters friends aren't married.) I know my sister thought it was wrong (along with my mother who knew and has no issue with this) because she waited almost 3 weeks to tell me she bought the dress. And then she said that if it was a friends wedding she wouldn't have done it but because I was her sister that is why she did. Sorry this is so long I'm just so pisssed. She has been the least involoved bridesmaid and then puts down my best friend (and matron) for being so involved every chance she gets. It's so sad to say that if I knew 14 months ago what I know now there is no way I would have had this wedding. I would have gone to vegas and been done with it. |

Ok here's the question....
Once your shower invites went out did you look at your registry to see what has been bought? It's like I can't control myself! I hate having to wait for things. I didn't mean to look but when I noticed the first thing that was bought I can't stop looking now! I feel so guilty but now it's turned into like a little game called "I wonder who bought what". I know I'm nuts! I think it's all this wedding planning has finally made me certifiable! (Well maybe not, I did snoop when I was little for xmas presents too.) Those of you that aren't looking at your registries... How on earth are you doing it?? Please tell me I'm not the only nosey bride 2 be out there!! |

MAJOR DEAL!!
I took a gamble and it totally paid off. I bought this purse off of ebay for $8.99 (paid $10 in shipping) and it's BEAUTIFUL!! I absolutely love it! It's not to small and it's not to big. I can't wait to use it for my wedding!
P.S. The sellers name is stargloryfashions and they had several different colors available as well as many different styles as well. |

My Bridal Shower Invitations
Just a few more days and my invitations will be here! YAY! I had no idea shower invitations could be so expensive! That was kinda a shock to say the least. I thought about DIYing them but I have enough projects on my plate that I'm trying to finish up. Anyways... I got them from www.invitationbox.com. I'm printing them myself (it was also alot cheaper doing it that way) so I'm hoping that it won't be too difficult. I ordered a few extras just incase of mistakes.
Did any of you have a theme for your shower? If so what was it? I'm having a kitchen themed shower but I'm not calling it a stock the kitchen shower. How long before your shower did you mail out your invites? Did you do regret's only for the RSVP's or how did you word it? |
