8 MONTHS LEFT!!!

When did this happen??

How did this happen?? I woke up this morning, looked at an email and saw that I have 8 months left until the wedding!! I'm not going to start panicking just yet though. I still have plenty of time to get everything done, it just means that I need to get focused and start knocking out my DIY projects. I have most of the major things done already so that I don't have to worry about.

Done:
Church - booked
Reception Hall - booked
Photographer - booked
DJ - booked
Transportation - booked
Florist - booked
My dress - ordered
Purchased my ceremony and reception shoes
Ring bearer's pillow - finished (this was my first DIY project, pictures coming soon)


I know my to do list is quite a bit longer than the done list but I'm confident that I will finish everything in plenty of time. (Ok it's a ton longer but it will get done bc I am focused like a ninja! lol) I just wish I had a money tree growing in my backyard... it would make starting and finishing these projects so much easier! lol

Next major decision is the bridemaids dresses. I've gone out a few times with my Matron of Honor and once with both my Maid and Matron of Honor and I still don't think I've found the right one yet. So I'm hoping that we'll find it soon so that way we can find out about how much it's going to cost. (I want the girls to have time to come up with the money and not be stressed about it) After the dresses we plan on looking at tux's, deciding on which bakery to get the cake from and finding a videographer for the ceremony only.

Do you think I'm on track? Is there something important that I'm forgetting? I have my major checklist at home so I'm trying to do this by memory at work. (And my memory doesn't always work that well!! ) Does anyone have any suggestions? Opinons? Anything? How is your planning going? What have you finished so far? And how much time do you have left?
