Get to know me!

I've been a member on WBC for almost 2 months now and JUST realized I never did a 'GET TO KNOW ME' page!!

Sorry its late but here it is:)

I am a 22 year old freelance sports journalist. Which basically means all my writing is per article basis.I won POST FROM THE PRESS BOX in 2008 and have been sport writing ever since. I have a blog on Ravens24x7.com where I basically just cover the Baltimore Ravens. I also am a NFL correspondent for Bleacher Report. I love what I do!! I've ment amazing people and players.

I have been asked numerous times why I never tried Cheerleading, let me put it to you like this... I was raised by a single mother who taught me that the way a women presents herself has an affect on how other people around will treat her back. My mother taught me very strong morals. I am independent, and I respect myself tremendosly. Im not knocking down others that choose modeling/cheerleading or whatever else as a way to make money. Its just not something I would ever or could ever do.I respect myself way to much to downgrade myself that way. (and yes, that is what I think some of you ladies are doing.) There are so many strong beautiful women out there that are smart as well, I would much rather be known for being smart, then being a ditz with fake boobs. I'd be lying if I said my apperance doesnt matter to me, because it does. I dont think you will be taken seriously if you dont take yourself seriously and present yourself in a decent manner.Thats just me:)

Im very girly in some ways, less so in my personality. I hate gossip and I literally have 1 girflriend to about 10 guy friends.

Nick and I have been together since my freshmen year of high school, we ment through a mutual friend, Besides maybe 2 month break-up we have been together ever since. We have a 7 year old son who means the world to both of us. Everything we do is for him, He is a 2nd grader this year and I cant believe how time flies! He also started football this year and I am a proud momma to a starting linemen:) I love helping out at school and am very involved in Nicks education. I love love LOVE being a young mom! Its so fun and I think I enjoy it more.

Nick started his own business about 4 years ago, and has since dabbled in everything. He rehabs houses, he is also an investor in Baltimore City, MD. Rents some of them and flips others. We are very blessed to be able to afford things in these tough economic times, and Im very grateful for everything we have.

We are both fun carefree,laid back people! We love to laugh and have a good time. I cant cook so we eat out alot, haha Nick cooks more then I do. But theres our relationship trade off, I clean he cooks. It works out rather nicely that way. I think that fairness is important in a relationship. Which is what I think makes our relationship (for the most part) so successful.

Im a huge shopper, I love reading, Obviously I love Football, I love the beach and summer. Also enjoy fall & Halloween. Cant wait to travel more and see the world! Overall Im very blessed and happy. I couldnt ask for anything more then what I have right now!
