DIY Wedding
Glitz & Glam! Monogram cake toppers!

So, In my search for wedding sparklers I stumbled across this website! I love the monogram cake toppers but some of them were just missing something.. Seeing these I realized what it was!!

I love the glitz and glam look these have.. The 'rhinestones' give it that special feel I was missing before! I want 3. an S for our last name and our initials.

However, they are way pricey. So it looks like another DIY project is in the works! I'm going to search high and low for orange and pink 'gems' and try to tackle this project myself. I know they have the monogram letters at Michaels.

I made mine a DIY project and I love how it turned out!  A couple tips...by the bejeweler tool.  To glue them all takes awhile, but the hotfix tool on sale on Michael's in the Jolee's section will just heat up the glue on the back of all the hotfix crystals...it will save you a ton of time!  Be prepared to get a ton of crystals...you would think it would take that many, but it takes A LOT.  I used between 250 and 300 just for our H.  Good luck!  It is a fun project and sooooooo sparkly when you are done!

I'm going to do one of these, too! Try ebay for some cheap crystals (Michaels, too). Also, if you're looking for the monograms.. Ling's Supplies on e-bay has some awesome prices in different script styles, too. That's probably where I'm going to purchase my "W" from.

crafty eddy is where I got mine too.  It is just a wooden monogram, so it is nice and light for the cake.  Then you spray paint it and apply your crystals...still a DIY.
