Wedding Reception
What should we do for the guestbook?

Since I can't seem to decide on the Guest book do you ladies think it would be too much to do 2 different things? I wanted to do the engraved mat because I think its elegant and we can display it in our new home.. but then I loved the guestbookstore.com idea SO much!

My question to you girls is.. do you think it would be pointless to have the mat and the blank pages for people to fill out?

I'm starting to have panic attacks over this! I hope i'm not the only bride worried about such little things!

I need help!!!!!!

I like the idea of the guestbooks from guestbookstore.com. Its more personable and you'll appreciate the stories and well wishes they write in for years. We're doing a scrapbook where guests will write their well wishes (pics are on my page).

i think the stories might be really cute to read. but maybe have something like that at each table so the guests can take their time instead of feeling rushed with the next person behind them waiting to sign in.

if you want, then do 2 different things! no need to have panic attacks. it'll be fine whatever you choose.

i really like both ideas though. but i think the story one is something more original. :)

Cheers!

I would say do both if you want to do both! If you are going to do both, I would put the frame somewhere near the entrance for people to sign. Then put the guest book pages on the tables or somewhere else so people can take their time filling them out because you don't want those to be rushed.
I think we might have 2. We're doing "love letters" which are blank papers in with the thank you note for the guests to write us a message. I was also thinking I would like to have a photo book of us for people to sign too.
So I say just do it if that is what you want. Do what makes you happy!

I would say do both if u wanna - as long as you keep them on the same table so guests don't miss one or the other. Where did u find that picture of the frame? I love that! I have been thinking of doing a guestbook frame myself and can't decide on one i really like.
