DIY wedding
Flower girl and Ring bearer gift ideas!



I've been debating what to get my Flower girl now for awhile, She's 8 and I just can't decided what she'd really like. I was thinking about a jewelry box engraved with her name and/or a flower girl 'survival' kit! I'm making these for basically everyone in the wedding party and thought it would be cute if I gave her one too.

I was thinking about putting all the goodies in a mini-suitcase like this one..she can reuse it for her jewelry or barbie clothes.

and this is what I wanted to include.

Lip Gloss- To help your lips shine as much as you do
Tootsie Roll- To help you 'roll' down the aisle
Gum- To thank you for sticking to it!
Mint-So you're sure to have breath as sweet as you.
Lollipop- To help you 'lick' all those nervous feelings!
Snickers Bar-To remind you to laugh and enjoy yourself
Puzzle piece- Because you're an important part of the wedding
Starburst- for a 'burst' of energy when you need it
Jolly Rancher- To remind you to smile for all those pictures
Lifesaver- Because that's what you are to me
Hershey Kisses- Because you deserve them!

Anything else I should include?

I think I might make one for my son to, I'm just not sure what to put his in.. any ideas? I was thinking of this.. his room is football themed so it would fit perfectly in his room for use after the wedding.

oh what a sweet idea I'm sure she will love it! You could do similar things minus the lipgloss for his, most kids {and grownups} i know love candy

I was doing all the same candy I think for his, and maybe adding something else. Just not sure what yet. Glad you like the idea too. =)
