What an amazing wedding
Some quick pics of how the projects at the wedding turned out.
The seating cards are how we made the seating cards. We built the fence around a wood base. Then added the flowers. The book is the guest book. I made the pen out of a pen and flower wrapped with floral table. This way to the wedding sign. I found this sign and really liked it. I am sure you could make your own. Small arrangement - My mom made these. They are made with water and limes in the bottom, then 9 roses on the top in floral foam. Large arrangement - My mom made these too. A bag of apples in the glass we found at Marshals for $12. 18 roses around the top with leaves in floral foam. Then the top is curly willow for $4 a bunch. Front table. My mom made the orange runners from curtains found at ross. She made the Rs on the side of the table out of taps lights. Fortune tellers. There were 2 at each table. A lot of people ended up playing with them and doing the things that it asked inside. My Dad cut out the R out of wood. I just printed out an R from the printer and he traced it. I then panted it pink and my Mom sprayed a clear coat on. We have extra apples from the arrangements to I added them to the glass containers. Dance floor - I created this with clear tack paper and cut out letters from crap paper. I cut out the R by tracing it on paper. The George and Lisa were cut out with a friends Cricket. Here are the flowers. Mine was about 3 dozen roses my mom made. The girls had 8 Gerber daises which were mixed pink and orange. I bought fortune cookies from oriental trader. My mom then dipped them in orange and pink white chocolate and then added heart sprinkles. |

Card Holder
I added some ribbon, a sign and some fake flowers to the bottom of the card holder.
The flowers were actually a decoration to a gift. |

Parasol
I bought a parasol and added my own R after seeing the directions online at this website: http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/02/26/diy-painted-parasol/
Everyone who sees it said that it looks like I bought it that way, so that is positive! |

Parasol
I just ordered a Pink Parasol for me and little orange ones for the bridesmaids.
I may put an R on mine or Thank You. I think it is really cute when they do that. Or I may just not do anything so I can do this cute shadow kissing pose. |

center piece
I got all of these glass vases at the salvation army for $3! I am going to use them for the centerpieces. Some of the others I may put candles or limes in. I put them in the dishwasher and they look good as new. I might add some ribbon to some of them

Centerpieces
Well i think we made the final decision on the center pieces. Instead of white roses they are going to be orange and pink on different tables. i think we are going to need 16 of them. I think we might put more rose petals on the tables. I also want to add limes to the top, but this was just a test.
Will the rose petals dry up during the reception? They are only $10 each Roses 8 - $8 Glass - $1 Limes $1 |

Cost:
Outside vase $4 Walmart Inside vase $1 Dollar store Limes $1 Walmart Roses $10 Dozen Wegmans $16 each I think I will need 16 for 130 people at tables of 8 Food Dye - Already have. I would like to do orange and pink color. I would like to do bright pink roses. Also cut the limes thiner and add more so there are no gaps in between. |
