Head Table or No Head Table?
I want a head table, but I don't want to make the bridal party feel like they are in prison and can't move. I know most will have a guest with them, and I don't want their guest being left by themselves. I was trying to figure out an easy way to incorporate this. Since my bridal party is on the big side, I didn't want to reserve all of those seats. I could do a sweetheart table, but I still want my bridal party to have reserved seats. I guess I can just do the head table and after they eat they can go wherever they want. Have anyone else had this thought? Please share your ideas. |

Wedding Cake
Let Them Eat Cake!!!!
My decorator referred me to a lady that does cakes. She works from her house. I looked through her book, and her work was nice. She charged me 325 for the wedding cake and 75 for the groom's cake. I don't know how much cakes usually run. Is this a good price? I chose the first picture, but now I'm thinking of switching to the 3rd one.. Since all are basically the same design, it might not matter. She isn't doing the same design around the cake anyway. Either way they will have the flowers and the fountain with the lighted water. Pearls will be added also. The grooms cake will be something dealing with football because he's a football FANATIC!!!! lol It will probably be something like the picture showing 2 of his fav teams, LSU and the New Orleans Saints. I will be making my own cake topper (rhinestone initials)...thanks to a post that I found on here. I can't remember who posted it though. |

Reception Decor
I met with the decorator for the reception yesterday, and I was very pleased with the price. The place that I am using isn't very pleasing to the eye, but I'm sure after she works her magic that it will look like a totally different place. I've posted some of her work.
