I didnt know wedding invitations were going to be so expensive :( I need 100 and cant find cheap ones. I wish I was better at this DIY stuff. I can do crafts but this one seems darn near impossible and is starting to get me down. Does anyone know a good cheap place to shop for invitations?

How long did you date before you got engaged?
Officially 1 year (we dated before "officially" dating :)

Did you get the ring you wanted?
Yes I did! I picked it out before we were even together.

Was the proposal a complete surprise?
Yes it was. I knew he had a huge surprise but I had been wanting a dog so bad and I was sure thats what it was lol I got my ring and was so happy I forgot about a dog...but I got her soon after :)

Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?
It is perfect I wouldnt change a thing!

Did you cry when he proposed?
Yes for sure. I was so happy!

Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like.
I think it was jjust plain adorable. He is so shy and was on the verge of passing out. He kept pacing and was turning red. Finally he sat down beside me and started whispering in my ear telling me it had been the best year of his life and then said something else but no clue what he said cause he lifted the ring up and I went into shock. My family was talking among themselves and had no clue what was going on. I think they paniced a bit when I started crying till I jetted my hand out to my mother.

Where do you want to go for your honeymoon?
I dont know amsterdam would be cool lol

Are you buying his wedding band for him?
We will probably purchase them together.

Have you gone over your original wedding budget?
We dont really have a budget since we cant afford much but we have alot of special people in our lives that are helping.

3 tier square cake two layers of choco one layer white and a grooms cake as a surprise :)

Where will you have the reception?
Same place as the wedding. It is a beautiful building down on the lake.

What kind of dress will you have/color/material?
a white sweetheart neckline with a pickup skirt with pretty decoration in the pickups long train

What kind of flowers in your bouquet?
I am not a fan of flowers so not sure yet. Probably roses. Really wish it was all feathers.

Kind of engagement ring?
just a pretty silver ring with diamont setting and an endless love knot on either side.

Kind of wedding bands?
we are both thinking a silver band with a diamond line

How will you wear your hair?
I have short curly hair so I have no clue suggestions appreciated lol

Black dress pants and shoes a long button down black shirt with white vest and red tie and a cool fedora if I can talk him into it ;)

We dont really care about the honeymoon. We will be spending so much on the wedding we may just stay in a local hotel suite or send the four legged kiddo to moms house and have some time at home by ourselves.

Not long since he will have to be back to work

tee hee hee Um read a book? JK I would say spend time together and call each other mr and mrs alot :)

I wrote our premade vows. We will all be watching to make sure the groom doesnt pass out he wouldnt remember a thing and would freeze so I made it easy for him.

The wedding dress has been bought :) Who could say no to a dress that made my mom and I cry TWICE?? The first time I tried it on we cried. We didnt have the money at the time and we thought it was just because it was the first one that looked really good on me. Well we went back again with the money and tried again. I changed all my dress options but threw that one in to try on last and it happened again. I walked out and saw it on me and broke down. I knew it was THE ONE. I turned around and my mom knew also. My bridesmaid and MOH was with me so it made it even more special. I was very lucky because someone secretly donated 600 to help with my dress. My mother wont tell me who it is but I am very thankful for sure. I had to cancel my dress appt 3 times because of a surgery then had complications after surgery. It hurt wearing their slip because it pushed on my incision but it was so worth it. I refused to cancel again lol. I cant wait to see the final product!!! They are changing it to a corset so I can have my black ribbon :) November just cant get here fast enough!

Hi my name is Robin :) I am so excited to start a new blog on here. I have got so much inspiration from the ladies on this site that I wanted to join in! I have been researching everything wedding for months now. I have gathered all sorts of stuff from our local for sale online and got some very good deals :D I am looking forward to going to try on wedding gowns once again this weekend. My mommy, MOH, and my only female BM, and I will be enjoying a girls day out. We are going to try on dresses, have lunch, and go to the womans expo. The closer it gets the more nervous I get because I just had surgery and I am afraid the slip is going to hurt. I guess we will see when it is go time!

I have found the sweetest man! We started officially dating on Nov 24th 2010, got engaged Nov 24 2011, and will be married Nov 24 2012 :) Most of our relationship I have been sick. He never complains about taking care of me. He is always thinking of me and bringing me little gifts. I couldnt ask for a better man really :)
