Honeymoon
We waited a while to go on our true honeymoon...
So we got married in May 2005, but since the wedding has pretty much depleted our vacation time and travel funds, we just went for a mini honeymoon in October 2005 to the Big Island in Hawaii for a week. It was nice to just get away and relax. We did parasailing, snorkeling, submarine dive, tour the volcano, luau, and a whole bunch of laying around.

For our real honeymoon, we had to wait a whole year. We went to Europe in May 2006 for 3 weeks. We started off in Vienna, then Paris, then Barcelona where our Cruise ship (Brilliance of the Seas) sailed off. Our Cruise took us to Villefranche, Monaco/Monte Carlo, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Mykonos, Athens, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Santorini, Naples, Pompeii and back to Barcelona. From there we went to Zurich and finally Frankfurt. Before we got on the ship (and after), we took the Eurail mainly to get around. It was a little bit of a hassle after the cruise because we had our luggage to drag around with us, but we only had 2 stops from Barcelona, so it wasn't too bad.

Invitation
I made ours!!!
I wanted our invites to be unique so I made them myself. I've had the idea of what it was going to look like for the longest time, but it took me a while to get the materials to actually make them.

I'll see if I can dig up photos of it and post it soon.

Cake
The Buttery Bakery
We had a really one-of-a-kind cake. It took us almost 4 months and 7 tastings to find it. The whole thing was edible including the toppers which were made exclusively for us.
