Wedding Reception
frames for DIY table numbers and other goodies

So I just got back from michaels, I bought these pretty white frames for the table numbers at $1.50 each! I also bought round wooden sticks of sorts to attach to the frames just to make them higher since they are only small. Now all I need are bases for the sticks to stand into to support the weight of the frame. Oh, and numbers. I'm thinking I can get number stickers at wal-mart or the dollar store for cheap! That will probably be tomorrow's shopping trip!

I also bought 3 spools of ribbon. Love them! My favorite is "eat, drink and be married". I was happy that it was in my color too!! They had Mr. and Mrs. ribbon but that was in green. So that was a no go. Booo!

They are pretty! How are the picture frames going to balance on sticks? Are you having a base?

Rather than buying numbers, why don't you just print them out at home?  I think it would look pretty with light blue paper!  Let us know how they turn out!

What location did you get these from?  Because I can't find them!!!
Do you have the SKU number on them, so I can call different locations?

Thanks Leanne and all the best for your wedding!!! :)

Yea, I'll be using bases. I was wanting to buy numbers because I liked the damask paper that's already in them, so I was thinking of keeping it there and putting white sticker numbers on it.

I got them at the St. John's store. I bought all they had left of the white ones. But they also come in red, black and orange, some are square and some are oval.

I totally just bought these frames too and wanted to use them as tables numbers. One of my bridesmaid said they're great but way too small....can you explain more how you are going to use sticks and bases to give them height?? Thanks.

I agree, they are too small just to sit on the tables by themselves. Therefore I have devised a plan...I will be adhering in some way sticks (mini poles) to the back of each frame and to support the weight and make it stand I'll be sticking the bottom of each stick in a base. (most likely wooden) If the wood doesn't seem to work I'll use sand in some way. I'll be working on them possibly this weekend and when I finish them I'll post the pictures!
