This is lemonjade's Pink Wedding!

So I ordered the dresses from David's Bridal.

I decided on Watermelon Pink, and each girl has chosen the dress that looks best on them.

Lia's Dress is a long but her seamstress is going to shorten it to knee length like the other girls

Daryl and I are both big Def Leppard fans and we always make sure we have tickets for thier shows whenever they are in ...anyway they were apart of this 3-day Bayfest concert in Sarnia, so of course we bought our tickets the day they went on sale.

We decided to book a campsite, which I believed had been done months before. However, Daryl never booked one and booked a suite at a hotel instead. He told me that the campsite had called him and told him that they had over booked and they were going to use our deposit toward a room at a local hotel. I was a little upset since we never camp and I thought it would be fun, but Daryl reminded me that we wouldn't be spending much time there so I was okay with it.

So the day of we drive to Sarnia and pulled into the hotel. D said he'd run and check in, so I stayed in the car. I didn't see that he walked away from the car holding an envelope which he had the staff run and put into the room.

Daryl unlocked the door and let me walk in first. I saw this massive suite with champagne and glasses sitting on the table. I flocked to it like a moth to a flame and ripped open the very official looking envelope that was placed between the glasses. (Daryl had printed the hotel logo onto the envelope, and had it addressed "Ms. Jessica Jodoin/Mr. Daryl Grayson") I then begun to read OUT LOUD to him his own letter.

At first the letter sounded very official : "We here the staff at Bayfest 2007 sincerly apologize for this inconvienence ..." - I'm thinking "Wow - this was really nice of them". The next paragraph went on to say "To be completely honest your boyfriend had a lot to do with this upgrade in accomodation" - Now I'm thinking "Daryl must have put up a fuss for them to go to all this trouble". But it started to click once it said "We here the staff at Bayfest 2007 can clearly see that this man is your soulmate..." I am now starting to read the letter MUCH slower ... then it closes with "and now this very lucky bastard has a very important question to ask you".... I am already crying now as I listen to him tell me the most amazing things and then get down on one knee.

He could hardly hear the "Yes" through my sobbing - but I think he knew it was all good when I starting kissing and hugging him!!

(and for the record -- I didn't even look at the ring before I said Yes, since I had told him previously I'd say No if he got an awful ring hahaha)
