Found Sash...Need Dress

I have rough ideas of what I would like in a dress, I'm looking for a 30s/early 40s femme fatale kind of look. I watched "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" too much as a young girl hehe.

So when I came across this I had to buy it even though I haven't tried anything on yet. I fell in love with it. I just knew I wanted a central embellishment and thought getting this may help bring down the overall cost of my dress.

In the picture it must be wrapped around a barbie doll's waist, so how large it looks here is nothing to go on sorry. It's just under 6 inches wide at the widest point

Any dresses you think this would look good on? And what flowers do you think the ivory/cream sequins are supposed to be?

Beautiful sash!! Now you know what to look for in a dress, and can go with a more simple dress because you already have the embellishment. :)

The sash is so pretty i agree with phillysgirl5 (aka Elizabeth) go with a more simple dress because you have this sash :)

Thank you everyone! Yes I was thinking this was the best route to a dress with great fabric and some nice bling without paying twice the price. I'm hoping I can create something Jenny Packham-esque (& Elie Saab I WISH!!!!!). Something slinky and drapey, and much to my future mother in-laws delight, flows out whenever I move like a Ginger Rogers gown. Has anyone seen anything like this during their searching? I'm also on the look out for jewellery and dress clips that would go with it for extra options.
