Calling all coffee filter flower makers, have you ever used coffee filter paper from a roll? Is it the same as the cones? When I first found out about being able to make DIY roses that look so good I was really relieved as we have little to no budget. But then I found that coffee filter papers are WAY more expensive in the UK and might not work out as cost effective. On my hunt for a bargain I came across rolls that are way cheaper and wondered if anyone had used them... even just for their coffee and can tell me if there is any difference other than the shape it comes in.
Cheers!
If you have to cut and shape the rose with the paper, I don't think it would matter if it's on a roll on pre-cut paper - as long as it's the same paper. the filter usually are pre-shaped and wavy. I'd think that would detract from your rose or be more work to straighten out all the creases.
Do some research and see what the steps are to create the rose and if the shape plays a part in the production.
Good luck and great DIY money-saving idea!
