DIY Projects
Well it has been a pretty eventful couple weekends. I think it just recently hit me that I am getting married in 4 months and have TONS of stuff to do.
Here are the pics of the bouts, and the birdcage card holder. I have recently worked on finishing and mailing our invites :-) They came out great and am so proud!! I have also done the iron on transfers for the girls shirts. I made the guys a similar version of what I made the ladies as a bridesmaid survival kit. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy my hard work (oh and the FH helped too) <3 |

Wedding Invitation
Invitations-DIY
So I decided a long time ago that I wanted to create my own invites. I was really torn because it could be really expensive as well so I kinda put it on the back burner for a while. Glad I did because I stumbled upon something I made that I really liked.
So I made the invitation on my own and printed it on white cardstock. I bought the pocket folder from cards and pockets. I have also just bought the invitation mat and envelopes from cards and pockets. I really love them. They have some really great ideas and pretty easy to navigate. The price isn't that bad either! I haven't put it all together yet but here's an idea of what part of it will look like :-) Price break down White Card Stock (Target) $20 A7 Onyx Envelopes Invitations Mats 4.75X6.75 Total $48.18 Pocketfolds Vertico Total $84.82 Grand Total: $153 for 90 invitations which comes to $1.70 per invite |

Bridesmaids
Bridesmaids
Well I lost a bridesmaid. I am not upset about it, I am glad that I found out now than in September. I kinda had to pry it out of her, it has been something I have been feeling has been a long time coming. I still love her to pieces but completely understand in her not being able to commit. Oh well That leaves 6 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. However, on my honey's side one has been a little shady so I wouldn't be too surprised if he backs out. I just hope we know before September as that is six months before the wedding.

Bridesmaids
Bridesmaid Survival Kits
So I got some ideas from other brides and I finally made them for my ladies. They are super cute! The damask bags I got from another weddingbycolor bride like a year ago. They were originally from Michaels and they were perfect for this DIY.
The contents: Deodorant (from Dollar Tree) Body Spray (Target-Dollar Spot) Mouth Wash (from Dollar Tree) Band-Aids (from Dollar Tree) Advil packet(3 pack from Dollar Tree) Tums (3-pack from Target) Nail File (Michaels-Dollar Section *2-pack) Lip Gloss (Ross) Shout Wipes (Target-Travel Section) Damask Tissue pack with their initial on it (from Hobby Lobby) Body Wash Scrubby (Target-Dollar Spot) Eye Mask (for when they sleep, Michaels -Dollar Section) The tags I made myself through powerpoint and printed them out on white cardstock and voila! |

So I made a sample of the invitations. They are on a different colored cardstock, but I think they look nice.

DIY Wedding
Tears of Joy
So I have slowly been gathering the things I needed to do this DIY project. Now that I have had more time on my hands since I just finished school I have been trying to complete some DIY projects while I do some job searching. Anyway, hear of my TOJ tissue packets, I think they came out quite nicely! :-)

Caterer
We FINALLY found one!
After lots of searching we finally found a caterer that was able to meet our budget. We are so thrilled! The name of the company is Cake Contessa and they will be doing our Mexican Buffet, and our Cake, Grooms Cake and Cupcakes!

365 Days!
Only 365 more days! Well technically 366 because of the leap year. I am so excited. We still haven't found a caterer. I went bridesmaid dress shopping last Saturday and it was a little difficult with so many personalities and tastes. I even tried to go in there with what I wanted them to wear. They apparently were not all too crazy about the dress. :-/ Back to the drawing bored.
