Before anyone gags at the tackiness of this question, let me explain...
The venue where we are getting married at has karaoke every Sunday night. Somehow, I became famous for my rendition of Madonna's, "Like a Virgin". I'm not a very good singer, but lets just say there was a bit of crawling and table top dancing....Anywho, I always get a request to do the song everytime I am there.
Because the reception is coming before the ceremony, we are going to keep with the "backwards" theme and do a "Last Dance" before becoming MR&MRS. This will be what traditional weddings would call the "first dance"...so it will be a nice meaningful song (maybe "Could Not Ask for More" by Edwin McCain)
However, after midnight, we want to have our fiirst dance as husband and wife, but because everyone will be in party mode, we dont want to bore them....we want to do a choreographed surprise first dance (see link to Chip and Deanna's 1st dance on youtube)

(here's where the karaoke comes in....sorry for the run around) I want to finish the "surprise" dance with my "like a virgin" performance. After all...I am in a wedding dress just like Madonna was for the mTV Music Awards.
We are thinking that by that time older, pruder guests will have left, as well as guests with small children....Do you think it is appropriate or inappropriate?
Its original tho!
