Maggie Brides - HELP! *UPDATE*
I think I may be getting a FAKE dress!!!! Has anyone ordered a Maggie from an "unauthorized" retailer, or recieved a dress without a certificate of authenticity?
I was told by a bridal salon that they were able to order me a Maggie even though they were not registered on the Maggie website. I believed her and they ordered it. I became a little suspicious so when they called to tell me it was in, I asked about the certificate. The lady on the phone said it didn't come with one because I didn't ask for it. I assumed they just automatically came with one. Do you think this may be a fake? I'm going tomorrow to see it but don't know what to do if it turns out to be a knockoff. Please help! |

The Proposal
Proposal in Cozumel
In January 2008, we decided to take a vacation in Cozumel, Mexico. On the third day of our trip, we rented a car to tour the island. When we got to the east side, there were many beautiful white beaches, but one stood out. It was called El Mirador. The entire beach was made of crushed white coral and had a giant coral reef cliff hanging out over the ocean. I asked Darryl to take my picture on top of the cliff and he climbed up to join me shortly after. We sat together near the edge and as I babbled on about how beautiful everything was, he was trying to say something....
I was so mesmerized by the beautiful rainbows the ocean mist was making splashing up on the reef, I barely heard him as he was telling me how much I meant to him. He then told me he had been meaning to ask me something for awhile, and pulled a little box out of his pocket. So, on top of a coral reef cliff in Mexico, he asked me to marry him! I could have never asked for a better proposal! |

I finally picked a dress!
I waited until the last minute to start looking for dresses! That was dumb. But after a lot of stressfull searching, and trying on like 50+ dresses, I found my Maggie Sottero Gloria! I ordered her in white with silver accents. She won't be here till July though. :(
