We have decided to go with some tasteful accent lighting for our venue! The pictures show our venue. We will be uplighting the columns in red. The dance floor will have a lavender "leafless" branch pattern, and each table centerpiece will have pin lighting. I'm so glad we found this vendor!

So I really love this dress. Initially I had wanted all of my bridesmaids in knee length or tea length dresses. However, that was when we were going to have a summer wedding. Since the wedding is in November I think these are more appropriate, and will go well with my dress too. I want all of my bridesmaids to wear red shoes, I think there's somethign sexy, sassy yet classy about red shoes. Lord knows, my bridesmaids all have personality, so I think the red shoes will be fun!

Wedding Invitation

So I wanted something simple and elegant. I'm not in to spending a whole lot of money on my invitations. We need 100 invitations, and this one, the price will be $120.... I didn't think that was so bad!

Priscilla of Boston Style 4201

I hate the pictures offered of this dress online, because it doesn't do it justice. The model in the picture has her knee pushed forward, which gives the impression that it's a "mermaid" dress. It is not. It is a slim fitted straight gown, with gorgeous lace and crystal detail. I went out searching for a big princess dress and somehow fell in love with this one instead. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!!!
