Here are some more pictures of the wedding. Dan is still uploading pictures and more to follow. Will try to get pictures of the venue and flowers which I think people didn't take. I now wish I had hired a real photographer but too late now!! Still many to come in from friends and family and the friend who took the most photos that we asked to do did take good ones and still not uploaded yet.

We're Married
A few pictures
We were married Sunday night and it was perfect. Everything went great and fun was had by all that attended. I was told by many that the food, drinks, dancing and decor were romantic and classy - just what I wanted it to be. Here are some photos my girlfriend took and put on Facebook. Will post more when received. I loved every minute of it and I am now married to the love of my life - it was all worth the time, money and stress.

ONE DAY TO GO!!!
Well - we have one more day and we will be married. Didn't think this would finally come and am so excited but still so much to do!! Picked up the desserts and flowers today and will be going out for dinner with friends who are coming into town from Calgary then off to my father's for last minute things to do and will not see Dan until 7:00 tomorrow night at the ceremony.
I will post pics after the wedding for all to see and will not be going on honeymoon until first two weeks of December in Cuba so have plenty of time to post pictures and my thoughts. | have so enjoyed reading all your posts over the past 8 months and will miss it but am sure will keep looking past the wedding as it is addictive isn't it. Haven't posted in a long time!!
Hi all - I have not posted during the summer as was busy with work, gym and helping with my future sister in laws wedding this past month. They are now married and on their honeymoon in Hawaii. Two weeks to go and everything is going fine. All invites are in and have 75 guests coming which is exactly the number I was wanting. Our best man was no where to be found for over a month and told Dan last weekend call him and he has backed out!! Luckily my wonderful cousin Gord will stand up for us and he is the brother of my Matron of Honor so it goes to show family is always there for you and some friends well are not!!
I have still been coming on daily and looking at all your wonderful weddings and your ongoing planning and wanted to say hello to all new girls out there. |

Final fitting - not
I went in last week and tried on my dress and thought was taking it home but still needs some work on the bust line. I won't be getting the dress now until days before wedding!! At least I am having my hair make trial a block away the same night so can cross both off the list..

Anyone else having wedding planning blues?
Hi all - hadn't posted for a while as was working a lot of overtime (to pay for wedding) and am now going to the gym to get into shape as only 3 weeks to first dress fitting. I started running out of things to look for and write about as so many things are done or decided on already. I know I have just over 80 days left and am working on invitations this week, dress fittings just after, ordering alcohol and china etc. next week so busy that way but the big things are done and kinda feel let down that it is coming to an end. All decisions have been pretty much made. Any other brides out there starting to feel sad that the planning is slowing down. At lease we get to see new brides coming on all the time to show us how excited they are about their color picks, dresses etc.

My sister is a great photographer and we have asked her to do our pictures as well a friend's husband was a pro years ago so what she doesn't get he will. I just couldn't pay the type of money that some brides are paying for their photos. If I get a few good ones that is enough for me - I don't like my picture taken anyways. These pics are great as you don't see the faces LOL!!!!

Can't be totally serious!
Though Dan and I are older than most of the couples on the website doesn't mean we can't have some fun. I want the wedding to be stylish and elegant but have to have some lightness as well. Dan is a big Mickey Mouse fan so I have bought him to wear for the wedding an adorable Mickey & Minnie tie with antique cars (another love of his). Found it on Ebay in England for $5.00 and it is red with orange and brown - was meant to be!! I am going to surprise him with the gift before the wedding and give him a note to wear it. We had joked months ago that he wanted to wear a Mickey tie and I absolutely said no way. Well he is getting it. I am also surprising him with a Mickey & Minnie cake topper borrowed from a friend. My love is the Boston Red Sox (he hates them and is an Orioles fan) so I am wearing a garter for him to see later on with Boston on it.
Anyone else surprising their groom with anything? |

Have totally changed everything - Cuba didn't work out and doing a small local wedding here at Canadian Thanksgiving weekend instead and going with brown/orange. Will still be honeymooning in Cuba though!
