Dress Dilemma - Colours Colours Colours

Ah so I wrote my post and some how deleted it.. so lets try this again..

So I get married in 6 months.. well 2 days until 6 months and its going to be a glorious Spring day!!

So I have found my dress - its ivory and is the style pictured Front & Back.. and no that is not me in the pics LOL.. anyway I love it! Its got rosettes all along it and a layer of lace underneath that shows through the split and comes out underneath as the train...and a cute bolero in case it gets chilly..and to cover the flabby arms! My next fitting in on Monday and Ive lost only 2 kgs lol but oh well.. 6 months! hahaha....

Now I thought I had my Bridesmaids dresses chosen. I wanted olive green and found the perfect dress! Its simple, the colour I wanted and flattering to all shapes. It's the long green on in the pics. So I went with my MOH to try it on and she has a greater set of assets that myself and so a strapless dress didn't sit very well and she felt she was falling out. So the lady helping us said that straps can be attached however, they don't do alterations or order in extra material - so we would have to use the material spare from when they cut the hem. Also a long dress is good for my BM as I am short and they are taller than me so I can put them in a flat or lower heel. So my MOH said she doesn't mind it but would feel more comfortable with straps - all good..

Anyway last week I went with my mum to go buy her outfits.. and we found these dresses. The lace ones pictured. Now its cute, and looks amazing up close as there is a silver through the lace. I love it and showed my MOH and she did too. The lady there told us that they can attach straps and do the alterations and they order i extra material to do this. Now the pros with this dress - its lace, cute, short so spring/summery, they do the alterations, has the vintage feel we were going for. The cons - the girls will need to wear some hot shoes so will probably be taller than me, i'm not sure if it is as formal/dressy as we want it, the colours aren't what we originally wanted but we would probably go with the purple or green.

So ladies - we are going to a formally yet vintage feel to our wedding! Any help would be great!!
