Honeymoon
Vegas was a blast!
Wish we didn't have to come back :( Just Thought I would post a couple of pics...
We stayed 7 days & it was so much fun. We got much needed relaxation as well as fun entertainment and night life. We had a romantic dinner on top of the Palms casino at "Alize". We even had our room upgraded at caesar's palace just for being on our honeymoon. We had a beautiful hot tub in our room. Everything was awsome! |

Hello girls! I can't believe it's all over with. Here are a few pics taken from family & friends... I will upload the professional pics as soon as I can, The photographer will give me the flash drive so MORE TO COME! All together he took 700 pics. I will post most of them, but not all because that is too many lol But I want you girls to see how gorgeous my girls were & we took alot of pics of the reception as well & the "getting ready process".
I am now MRS. Sears....Everything turned out as planned. The day was perfect. No rain & lots of sunshine. Hair turned out really pretty, my hairdresser did a butter braid with curls, makeup was awsome, The airbrush foundation lasted for hours even after dancing & I only had to touch up once with my lip gloss. Everyone looked amazing!! A few problems with guests arriving late & guests bringing guests who weren't even invited, but other than that everything went smoothly. Food was great, d.j was great, bartender was awsome! Things I recommend are: ~PRACTICE walking, sitting, & dancing in your wedding dress. Since these dresses are sometimes heavy it is good to know how to move in them. ~Hiring an event planner so that they can deal with all the vendor questions..(you don't want this annoyance) ~Flip flops or comfy shoes for the reception because your feet WILL hurt. ~Cake boxes for left overs ~shout wipes or tide pens ~a small fan in case the brides' room is hot ~LOTS OF SLEEP the night before ~Write a list & pile all your wedding stuff in the car the night before. This really helped keep things organized so I didn't forget anything. ~lots of extension cords or wireless microphones ~If you are writing your own vows remember them before you get to the aisle lol I did forget so I had to recite them from memory. Good thing I memorized it. lol ~Tissue for the ceremony tears ~lighters for the unity candle ~An Envelope for all the vendor money ~Make time to eat (busy busy busy) but make sure you eat. ~Have more than one person help with your bustle, it will go faster ~ENJOY EVERY MINUTE because the day goes by very very fast. I am looking forward to our honeymoon. VEGAS BABY. We are leaving the 14th & coming back the 20th. Staying at the caesars palace. |

My wedding day jacket
the wedding is almost here!
This is what I will be wearing the afternoon of. It zips in the front so it will be perfect for when I go to get my hair done. It is a white jacket. with a iron on with personalized fuchsia lettering & a gold center airbrush look.
A few updates: My uncle will be singing 'Perfect Union" for the beginning of the ceremony & singing "Glory of love" at the end of the ceremony. We changed our first dance song to "Always" by Atlantic Starr The Father/Daughter dance is "Stand by me" by Ben E. King The Mother/Son dance is "mama" by Boys 2 men I also found my something blue..I am going to wear my birthstone which happens to "aquamarine". My grandpa gave me a birthstone ring on my 16th bday so it has special meaning to me. The rest will be: My something old- a bracelet My something new- A peart necklace my grandma bought me. My something borrowed- Pearl earrings I am borrowing from my mom. |

Since the reception place is kind of small we opted for a sweet heart table instead of a a big table for the wedding party. We also didn't want to split up the wedding party from their dates.

DIY Table numbers
Done!
Finished the table numbers last night. I got the pink sparkley specialty paper from hobby lobby. I got the hearts & stickers from there also. I don't know if you can see it clearly, but underneath the number I put clear stickers that have love quotes on it. There is a different one for each. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

Table diamonds
Just bought some violet table diamond confetti off ebay. 2,000 for $10.00.
~Centerpieces have a fuchsia ribbon on the vase ~favor bags are violet, white & fuchsia I realized I didn't have very much violet color on the tables. These are subtle, but they will bring a little more color to the table. I plan to sprinkle these around the centerpieces. |
