Hey ladies!!!
First of all I would like to say HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the WBC Mothers!!! I hope you enjoyed your day! My Mom actually spent today working on her new house and I worked on wedding stuff haha. My birthday was a couple weeks ago so we decided that we would celebrate that and Mother's day together when we both had more time. So anyways my project today was my ribbon backdrop for my cake table :) It took me about 2 hours total. I bought my white ribbon at Wal-mart and then the silver, blue and purple on ebay for pretty cheap :) I was worried that I wouldn't have enough but I ended up having the perfect amount! I bought an inexpensive thin curtain rod at Wal-Mart as well and just hot glued the ribbon around it. Then I hot glued some strands of my acrylic beads to add some sparkle :) The sign I got made by Vistaprint for $3. It isn't straight or center but I just taped it there for the picture, I will actually hot glue it on the day of. FH helped me roll it up and then we duct taped recycling bags around it so that I can just unroll it when we set up the hall. (That is the last pic) We are going to hang it from the reception ceiling with some fishing wire and my cake table and a crystal tree will be in front of it. I really love how it turned out!! Don't mind the two lamps on either side, they were the perfect height I needed so I duct taped the rod to them as poles haha  |

HUGE Crystal trees!! SO EXCITED!!
I am so mad that the photo I have won't upload to WBC but this gives you kind of the idea!
These are the trees I am having at my reception on either side of my head table. They are actually going to be 8 FEET TALL and 5FEET WIDE!!! WOO! They come with 3 spotlights that attach to the base to light them up so they sparkle. I have a picture that I took at the rental place because she had them all set up, it's too bad it won't work though because the sparkle is incredible!!! The picture is basically what they look like though but bigger! So excited about them and so in love that I had to share!! |

DIY tablescapes
Hey ladies
So last week I posted the pics of my final tablescapes. After analyzing them for countless hours and only getting one comment on them I decided that they were missing something haha They were not as "full" I guess as I wanted them to be as well as the shapes of the tables was bothering me. I am my own decorator and I am a HUGE perfectionist so its no surprise I re-did them because I have re-done almost everything haha So here are my new and improved finalized centerpieces. I am having 2 different tables half will be round and the other half will be 2 8 foot rectangle tables put together. The round tables table cloth will be all white with floral pattern and the rectangle will be plain white with the matching floral on the round tables as a runner. Both will have square white plates. I went to my hall today to set up the rectangle tables so I could see how it looked because I really wasn't sure. Well after being there for over an hour I decided that I really liked them! haha Hope you ladies like them! xo P.S DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE COLORED RIBBON ON MY BLING VASES. THEY ARE THERE TO HOLD THE BEADS DOWN BECAUSE WHEN YOU MOVE THEM THEY FLY ALL OVER THE PLACE. IT WILL BE COMING OFF AT THE RECEPTION LOL |

Wishing tree done!
I made another crystal tree today! This time it was for my wishing tree :) It was hard for me not to put too many crystals on it because there has to be room for the tags to go on it.
I am not overly fond of the tree in pics but in person I do really like it! For whatever reason the trees don't photograph that well :( ANYWAYS the first pic is of the tree itself. I posted a few days ago about how I DIY'd the pot that it is in! My theme is bling and feathers so I put feathers on top of the pot A) for the theme B) to hide the rocks I used to hold it in place! haha Benefit to living on the beach I just went down and stole some free rocks haha The next pic is of the tags that will go on the tree, THEY WERE FREE I just ordered the free business cards from vistaprint and put the poem on them, then my BM's and I just hole punched them and tied some silver ribbon! Last pic is the sign that is going to go on the wall. Also from vistaprint for $3 :) I am going to mount it in foam board though so it is easier to hang! It's all rolled up that's why there are things on the corners to hold them down! Hope you ladies like everything :) xoxo |

saw my dress on Four Weddings Canada!!
So the other night I saw my dress on Four Weddings Canada.
I sat there in anticipation wondering what they were going to score the dress!!! lol Well the only comment they showed was the one bride saying that she hated the material and didn't like it much!! OMG I almost cried haha Stupid bride hormones!!! The biggest thing is that I HATE TAFFETA and we ended up getting BM dresses in taffeta that I do absolutely LOVE and another material would make them look funny. Then when my dress came in it was taffeta and I couldn't remember it being in that material so I got really self conscious about it! However after putting it on I still do love it, I must have if I never noticed the material at the bridal shop lol So I guess I now love taffeta?? lol ANYWAYS the girl that wore my dress ended up winning four weddings with top scores in the dress category YAY!! The girl that didn't like my dress ended up losing and everyone hated hers hahaha Kind of rude of me to laugh at that I know and even though I wasn't part of the show I felt vindicated!! haha So there were no tears here about the material! LOL I can only tell something like this to you ladies cause other ppl would think I am crazy! Thanks for listening! haha |

Painted monogram complete!!
Last night I worked on my DIY painted monogram!
It took FOREVER but I forced myself to finish and now my back is paying for it today! lol I am draping this over my cake table or wishing tree table or I may make another one and do one of each, however last night I swore I would only do one!! haha I think it turned out pretty good considering I am not a painter haha I just created it in Adobe photoshop, printed it off in 9 pages and then bought a piece of white material and paint from wal-mart. The paint was on sale for $1 each so I think it was a pretty inexpensive project! |

Wedding Nightmares!!
Had my first one last night!!!!
OMG I HAD MY VERY FIRST WEDDING NIGHTMARE!!!!
I have seen a few posts from you ladies about having wedding nightmares and I felt so lucky that I had never had one but they got me!! haha This one felt so real after I woke up it took me a few minutes of convincing myself that it was in fact just a dream! lol Everything that could go wrong went wrong! -I was wearing half my dress to our rehearsal haha The skirt and the veil which is hilarious because it didn't even look like my dress and my dress is one piece and I don't have a veil lol -My rehearsal was in a church and after rehearsal the minister made us do a bunch of wedding challenges ( I am not getting married in a church lol) -THEN the challenges went so late we forgot to have our rehearsal dinner and give everyone their gifts. -I woke up at 11am on the wedding day next to my FH husband and we forgot that we were supposed to stay at different houses and all my girls were supposed to be with me. -On my invitations in my dream it said that my wedding started at 11 ( which it doesn't it starts at 3) but no one woke me up to get my hair and make up done. -I had to call my aunt and get her to tell everyone I would be late -Then I had to do my own hair and make up and at this point I was crying and started having cold feet about my wedding haha That's when I woke up THANK GOD!!! I did not want to see what else was going to happen!!! LOL I am so glad it was a dream but now it has terrified me into making a sure I have lists for EVERYTHING so I don't forget a thing!! I am already really anal about lists so this has done nothing but made my obsession worse!!! haha Have any of you ladies had any wedding nightmares lately!?! |

DIY Wedding
HIM & HER frames blinged out!
SO I am kind of a perfectionist and as you ladies know I have re-done multiple wedding items just to create more work for myself haha
Well here is another re-done item. I really didn't like the frames I made before and this particular DIY was really special to me so I wanted it to look nice. I originally got this idea from the knot but put my little twist on it to make it my own! It was fun coming up with things about each other! I love that it is something we can keep in our house after the wedding :) Hope you like them!! xo |

DIY BLING wishing tree pot :)
This must be my week of glitter!! haha
So for my wishing tree I am putting it in this glittery pot I DIY'd!!! OMG I am COVERED in sparkles, so is my cat! haha I got the pot from the dollar store for $1.25 along with silver glitter glue and silver sparkles. I spray painted the pot with my favorite metallic silver spray paint and after it dried took a paint brush and painted it with the glitter glue. I then covered it in the silver sparkles and VOILA! If I knew this was being moved around a lot I would modge podge over it just because my cat ran by it and he now has sparkles all over his side haha I sprayed it with a coat of hairspray twice though and as the glue dries they seem to be staying on better! I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out but it has made me really excited!! Now I just have to make the wishing tree to put in it I was going to wait to post this until after the entire tree was done but I just couldn't wait! haha |

DIY glitter memorial candles
These took me about 15 minutes! I just bought plain white candle sticks from the dollar store, brushed on aleenes tacky glue with a paint brush and then rolled and poured silver glitter on them! I have a crystal candle arbra that was my Grandma's and I am putting these candles in it as memorial candles. Each candle represents someone we have lost. The reverend will say the name and we will light the candle. |

I live in a small town on the beach so I am taking advantage of the natural beauty and having my ceremony there ( not to mention it's free).The ceremony will be pretty simple, my step dad is making me a modern archway and we will have some flowers and chairs but the beach already provides a lot of natural decoration.
For my reception I am all about the bling!
Everything will be white but I will have lots of blue and purple lighting and fake crystals to give it an elegant feel.
I am a DIY bride so a lot of my decoration I will be creating myself! SO EXCITED to get started!!!
