We know we want to go to the Caribbean for our Honeymoon but cannot decide on which island. We were thinking Jamaica since it's in our price range but my fiance' has been a couple of times. I would like to go somewhere new with him. Should we do an all inclusive resort somehwere? Any ideas would be much appreciated!

My venue makes cookies for favors, either a frosted monogramed cookie or two linzer heart cookies. I know I want to do edible favors so that they get consumed at the wedding and I'm not left with a bunch of things on the tables, but do I want cookies? Is that something that everyone would like? I don't know! I was thinking of doing a candy bar but everyone's doing those these days and they can get expensive when you have over 100 guests. Anyone have any ideas on affordable edible favors???

Our colors are blush pink and black with accents of ivory and a light sage green. Our tables and bouquets will have a lot of hydrangea in pink, white and green to match.

We decided to do something small when it came to our wedding party. Since my fiance' lost his mom a few years back, I thought it would be a nice gesture to have his dad be his best man. My sister will be my MOH and his sister will be my other bridesmaid. Jordan's uncle will be his other groomsmen, and then I put my parents in this pic as well. I think everything is going to be a lot easier with just family, epecially since we just moved to MA from NJ and our friends are from all over the place! The girls will be wearing mix and match tops and from Davids Bridal in blush pink with a black tea length skirt. The guys will be in a black tux from MW with ivory shirts & vest and light pink ties. My fiance' will be in the same except with an ivory tie.

We will also be drinking from a kiddush cup and breaking the glass at the end of the ceremony.

WORDING

We will borrow from the ancient custom of Handfasting for our Unity ceremony today. Handfasting is a traditional form of betrothal, the origins of which are largely lost in the mists of time. It is from this ritual that the term “tying the knot” originated.

Elizabeth and Jordan please join your right hands and then your left. Note that you have just made the infinity symbol representing that love has no beginning and no end.

(Officiant then takes the cord and wraps around one person’s left hand and the other person’s right. As she does so she explains the significance of the color(s) selected by the couple.)

Heart to heart, and hand to hand, you are joined together in marriage. The green ribbon brings blessings of fertility, charity, prosperity and health. The pink ribbon symbolizes unity, honor, truth, romance and happiness.

I know I definitely want an updo, but what I can't decide is if I want a messy look or a clean look....HMMMM...What to do!??? I love this Kate B. messy updo from the Golden Globes with her vintage dress.

Our invitations are very simple and look like they have a torn edge with (what looks like a pearl colored nail polish) paint around the edges. They are ecru colored so they look old.

Here is our huge B&B that was built in 1771!!!!

My bouquet is going to be a cascade of stargazer lilies, pink/green/whilte hydrangea and white dendrobium orchids. My bridesmaids, my sister and my FI's sister, will have the same flowers but theirs will be wrapped with pink and black ribbon. My soon to be sister in law will have a single pink rose in her bouquet for a memorial of their mother. The corsages will be dendro. orchids and spray roses and the bouts. will be dendro. orchids as well. Centerpieces will have a hurricane with a silver taper candle and a wreath of pink/green/white hydrangea, dendro. orchids and twigs.

We are getting married at a Bed & Breakfast that was Est.'d in 1771 so I want everything to look very elegant, classy and timeless. I was going to do square offset layers but have since decided that would be too modern of a look. I changed to round layers for the simple classic look instead. I am going to have a beautiful stargazer lily topper to match my bouquets, they are my favorite flower :)

This was the first dress I tried on and I LOVED it. It was exactly what I was looking for, nothing too poofy or hard to walk in. It's ivory and there are lace appliques all over, it has 3 ribbons below the bodice, lace cap sleeves and a beautiful lacey train and hem line. The one I'm wearing in the picture is the sample and was 2 sizes too big. When I got the right size, I didn't even need to have my dress taken in at all, it fit so perfectly. I only had to have it hemmed and create a bustle. I can't wait to get pictures of me in the right sized dress!

His band is a white gold Benchmark ring with brushed gold on the middle part.
I don't have a picture of mine but it was custom made by a friend of mine to match my e-ring. It has round diamonds all around it, going back and forth between 1/4c & smaller stones.

My ring used to be my fiance's mothers. She passed away a few years ago from breast cancer. I am so honored that his family wanted him to give it to me. It's white gold with a huge marquise, 2 oval diamonds on the sides and three tapered baguettes on either side of the ovals. The whole ring is over 2 carats and I am such a lucky girl!
