This is lkostka7's Green Wedding!

Our first official date was very exciting, we had decided we were a couple back in November and we couldn't wait to see each other, the only problem was that we were both in school and his family had no idea about me. We didn't get to see eachother for the first time untill March 7th, 2008.

My parents and I picked Brian up from the airport that evening. I was dropped off and went into baggage claim to meet my hunny for the first time! It was so exciting! He was ridding the escalotor down he had the biggest smile on his face with his white hoodie and Reds hat on. He walked over and the first thing we did was wrap our arms around eachother and just pause for a moment. It was so wonderful. Instantly I felt so safe in his arms. We let go but not completely, we kept holding hands. He grabbed his luggage and off we went straight to the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. Brian had no idea what he was in for!

We got to the games and we had to show him everything, hockey is a huge chunck of my life since I played for 10 years. He finally got to be with me being me and it was so wonderful. He was visiting for 10 days and It ended up being the most wonderful 10 days ever!

So i've been looking at Bridesmaid dresses and this is difficult, I want an old fashioned vinatge style wedding dress with a twist. I want a knee length tubetop dress with some poof on the bottom with a lace coat with a single button and 3/4 length sleeves to wear over the top. I haven't decided if it want it in white or ivory yet though.

So since i want a knee length dress tube dress is it wrong to have my bridesmaids in a similar dress? Not totally the same as mine since mine will be custom made but here are some I really liked and I wasn't sure if it would be weird to have my bridesmaids in a knee length as well.

Dresses would either be green or brown, i'm currently undecided....

So I have just been searching site like the knot and looking through other magaizines and I have decided that I really like the Individual Mini cakes I was just kind of curious if anyone out here on this site has done the individual cakes and how much that ran for and how many guests they had and if they got any feedback on them. I still think I would have a traditional wedding cake for the head table but small. If anyone out there has any information that would be great! Thanks!

So we know are wedding is off in the future, but with my sister getting married and other friends my thoughts about my wedding are just running through my head non-stop. The only thing I know for sure is that we will be getting married in Minnesota.

Currently there are 3 locations i'm looking at, to me the ceremony is not a big deal the reception is what matters to me so where ever we have it they will both take place at the same location basically because i want an outside wedding. The three locations we are looking at for FAR off in the future are
- Nicollet Island Pavilion
- Clarence W. Wigington Pavilion on Harriet Island
- The Chart House Restaurant

I know I want to do brown tuxes for the wedding but besides brown and ivory or brown and white i needed another color. At frist i couldn't decided between blue and green but i decided on green because both Brian and I are very much outdoors people and I felt it was more of a natural color. I'm sure we will have some blue accents here and there but most of the wedding will be brown and green. I have my boquet picked out and I LOVE IT!

These are basically my forsure ideas that I have, being a creative person I have many more little details that I can't wait to decide on for sure and make my dream come ture!

Brian is from Batesville, Indiana and i'm from St. Paul Park, Minnesota. We met in November of 2007 in a college chatroom online. Brian had no Friday classes and was quite bored since he couldn't go out do to work the next morning. I was also bored and friendless since all my friends were back at their schools out of town. We both wandered in there and ended up meeting and talking looking for nothing but a friend.

I'm not going to lie at first he seemed very down and not too fun to talk to, but we kept talking anyway. After that night we continued talking more and more, I was still not quite sure about him but again I didn't stop talking. We eventually exchanged phone numbers but at first when he was calling I was very nervous to talk to him.

One weekend I went pheasant hunting with my family only I was the only female. So I was quite bored, thankfully I had my phone and that had instant messaging. Brian and I spent the whole night talking, and that's when it clicked. November 25th, 2007 was the first time we talked on the phone, he seemed like a completely different person and it was wonderful! That was the point I wanted this friendship to become more. After that night I couldn't wait to talk to him again.

When we are apart in our own states we spend every minute we get on web cam with eachother but this summer he is here, living with my family and I and it's perfect, I couldn't ask for anything else!
