The Wedding Is Off
Our wedding is completely off. On May 28th I decided to end our relationship for reasons I too great to explain. It was a long time coming,and nobody in our lives was surprised. We have remained friends and we are still co parenting our 2 children. I appologize for taking so long to tell any of you,but it has been too hard to deal with this aspect. Look What I Got!
The base for my birdcage veil
Hey Ladies. I found this really pretty headband at Target. It was only $9.99. I plan to use it for trhe base of my birdcage veil. I have looked high and low for an affordable,but fairly good sized brooch,comb or clip to use,with no luck. I found a few ,but were either too expensive or not my style. This is on a very thin black headband,that totally blends in with my naturally black hair. How cool is that! Best of all,it's totally comfortable,and very lightweight. My dress is white with black trim,and I have not decided if the netting on the veil will be white or black. I guess I have awhile to figure that out,lol. Tell me what you think.......

Is it tacky to use silk flowers?
What I am wondering is,is it tacky to use silk flowers for decor and real for bouquets and bouts? Ive even thought about using silk for all of it. I have a really tight budget,and silk can be so much more cost friendly. Not to mention,I can do arrangements,bouquets and bouts anytime over the next 13 months if I use silk. I have actually been considering the ostrich feather centerpieces. I mean using silk for ceremony arrangements,like at the altar. I'm doing submerged flowers for the aisle. I might be able to get away with doing those in silk right? There are some really pretty silk flowers,and some great websites,like afloral.com. Alot of people keep telling me how tacky it is though. So please ,tell me what you think.

From the time I was 11 til I was about 17,my walls were so covered with pictures and posters of Corey Haim,you could not see the actual wall itself. To this day The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies. I had known for a long time that Corey had issues,but he was doing well. He was so busy with projects,and upcoming films,doing so well lately. I was so happy for him. His autopsy results have been leaked,and Im so happy that it was not drugs that killed him. He died of pulmonary congestion. I will always love and miss him. Sweet dreams Corey,xoxo.

I got part 2 of my Love Day present!
Hello Ladies. I got part 2 of my Love Day present from my FH. Its some new ink that I have been wanting fo'eva. I looooove it so much. It has alot of meaning to me,as all of my tattos do. He had already given me a gorgeous black and white diamond penguin pendant( had also wanted fo'eva). Not only do I have a love for black diamonds,I have a love for penguins too. I gave him a really nice burgundy/brown toned metal watch,with a diamond at the 12 mark, that he was lusting over,and some new cologne. He is the way with watches how most women are with shoes. Ya know,can never have enough. It looks really good with his skin tone. We also went to dinner at on of our favorite Italian restaurants(without the kids,yay). Anyway,sorry I'm just getting this in here 2 weeks later,but had to give the ink a week to heal a bit. Happy Planning.xoxo

Ok,so while I am not "officially" planning the wedding right now,a girl can still shop...right. I have been buying bits and pieces,here and there. My most recen purchase was these FABULOUS shoes. I have had such a hard time finding something I love,that isn't too higfh. My FH is only 2 inches taller than I am. I don't want to feel like Kimora next to Russell.lol. While some of you may no mind that I do. Also,with the health issues I have ,I don't need anymore reason to be in pain. hanks to Sandra a.k.a. labrumwedding,I found these. I just love them,and they are only 2 inch heels!! How great is that. The dress is white with black trim,and I will wear a black crinoline. BTW,things are really looking up for us now,and we are back on track. I should be back to "officially" planning again really soon. Happy Planning Ladies,xoxo *********************************EDIT************************************** Almost 2 months after I ordered these shoes,they sent me an email saying they did not have my size,eventhough the website still showed they did. So,no shoes for me. I would not recommend this site. Back to the search.

Hello ladies. I really need some feedback. My FH is about to purchase my engagement ring. We have been looking at this ring since June 2007. I am so in love with the setting on the blue topaz ring pictured at the left. We are exchanging the blue topaz for a black diamond. All wonderful right. Here is my issue,the center stone is between 4 1/2 and 5 carats. Is that too big? We have looked and looked,but can't find anything close enough that I love like this. I love it so much,but don't want to come off gaudy. I would wear the black diamond band with it. It matches the band on the engagement ring. Ladies,please give me your honest opinion.

Taking a time out
wedding on hold
I have been doing alot of thinkingand praying lately. I finally discussed it with my FH,and we have decided to put the wedding on hold. There are so many reasons why,but I would like to keep them private. Things just arent right. Please just pray for me. Hopefully everything will work out,but I will keep you posted.

Hello ladies! It is time for me to get back to the planning. I only have 1/2 months left,and so much to do still. Some time in the next 2 weeks my girls and I are going to shop for their dresses. I have a few in mind,but we still have to see what looks best on. Also,I haven't decided if I want them all in the same dress or if Ill let them pick their own ,all in the same olor and fabric.
