Here is a mock up of the floral arrangements that will line the aisle. I threw some other flowers in there just to bulk it up b/c I didn't have enough hydrangea. The actual arrangements will be all hydrangea in shades of plum, magenta, and a little burgundy.
I think the lace I got was a little too think, I used 3" and I wanted 2 or 2 and a half, but this was all I could find, and when I found it I felt like it was just meant to be.
My aisle is super short, just four or five rows long, before it proceeds up a set of steps (I still have to post pics of my venue!). So 8 to 10 of the 12 of these that I have will be used on the actual aisle and the rest I will scatter going up the stairs.
After the ceremony these will be used to decorate the cake table, escort card table, bar and other things.
What do you ladies think? I considered adding three rhinestones on the lace in a row down the front, but I thought it looked a little weird. I can always add them later.
it's really great too that they will have dual purposes!!
