Ask a Question - Did you get a creepy email saying they found you on WBC??

Hey, I got that email too!!! It's so creepy, I got it at like 4:50am and I was like "ok, is this some stalker or something....." weird! Well, its good to know I wasn't the only one!

Well not that im glad you got it too, but knowing at least one other person did too makes me feel better, like im not a target...hahah...

I haven't got any mail like that but it is truly creepy. I think you should send an email to the moderators of this site telling them of the mail. Maybe they can track down who sent it.

HEY, I GOT THIS SAME EMAIL TOO!!! I THOUGH I GOT IT B/C I WAS LISTED AS SAME SEX BRIDE SO I THOUGHT THE PERSON WAS TRYING TO HIT ON ME!!!! GLAD TO HEAR THAT WAS NOT THE CASE BUT IT WAS VERY STRANGE. HOWEVER I RESPONDED TO IT ASKING FOR A PICTURE SINCE THEY OFFERED AND NEVER GOT A RESPONSE BACK????

I don't think I got that e-mail but I do recognize that name. I just quickly delete my junk mail and don't really read into it.

@futuremrsa - the person had an yahoo email, so im sure it can be tracked somehow, but there is always so much junk email going around not sure if it would be seen as anything serious

@ Tasha I actually did sent an email to WBC advising them of the situation, and so if the person was a registered member under that email they'd have that and could handle however they sought fit, but would at least be aware of whats going on.

I wouldn't have thought twice about it being anything other than normal junk mail, if they hadn't mentioned WBC. I think I watch too much CSI and create scenes in my mind of what COULD happen, and expain too much too my daughter of all the creepy stalker people online... HA

I got this too, twice. Once at about 3am and then a couple hours later, it was really weird.

I think alot of stuff goes to my junk mail. I set up my email pretty tight.. but that is creepy.

WOOZERS!!! I got the same one! But the really ODD thing about it is that the e-mail came to my personal e-mail not the one I have set up for WBC creepy!

@ trulyblesses - Thats EXACTLY what it did to mine too!! I set up a separate email acct, for all the messages and updates on here as my regular inbox was overloaded, and this one is to my personal account! My only guess is that they snagged it off of a comment i left somewhere.

Yeah I think it is more from leaving your email on a comment, asking someone to email you something... we may forget and use our personal email that way..

Yes very good point Tasha because I got it to my personal as well, so that makes sense as my personal email is not linked to WBC.

OMG, I got that too, I was like um no..... Hubby was like wow, that is crazy, but I am glad it was a mass , little less creeped out now...

YES...I got one a few weeks ago and then again this morning. Just delete it...becaused if you reply back, then they have your email address. They are contacting you thru the "contact me" button (which they can't see email addresses).

People are dumb!

Oops, turns out I did get it. Think it was on our wedding email address. Crazy!

@ mrsallaway2b - Actually its not through the 'contact' me button... ive gotton alot of emails, and ones done through WBC contact me, have a message attached to it... this had no subject or any notification.

Yep, I sure did get one. I told "Rose" to send me her photo, so I can forward it to WBC help desk. Uh-huh, send me you photo chicky- or dude!

nope didnt get it................ i feel left out now hahaha. Thats creepy! ruins it for future brides who want to email another bride! I really dont liek that you can see the brides name when they email you

I did get 2 but it's weird because I got them on my email NOT associated with WBC. I use this email for work and never have put it on anything WBC. Execept when I bought stuff off of brides on here. My paypal is connected to that email. UHMMMM!!!

OMG! I got that email too. I was so freaked out by it I didn't know what to do. I'm a little more relieved now that I know it wasn't just me. That's still pretty scary though...and so strange!

It's spam. Delete it. Even if WBC bothered to find out who it came from, what are they going to do? There's nothing that they can do! "Rose" didn't break any laws, didn't threaten anyone, didn't do anything immoral or illegal. She simply sent out an annoying message, the same as dozens most of us get on a daily basis.

CHILL AND DELETE! lol
