My sister came over this weekend and saved my life by helping me work on making 11 bridesmaid bouquets, and my bouquet! We even started working on the centerpieces and got 4 of them done.
My pics stink b/c i use my iphone and never take the time to get the actual pics off the camera... so sorry bout that... but the BM bouquets are roses and hydrangeas wrapped in a black ribbon with this fuzzy edge that ended up being too cute! Finished it with some crystal pins and a bow. I think it'll look fab with their black dresses. I made the one for my daughter slightly different. It has the same pink roses as the other BM bouquets, but then instead of the hydrangeas, used larger roses, and added some pink ribbon accents to the wrap.
I love my bouquet... BUT... not sure if i should rewrap it in a offwhite ribbon instead of black. I didn't have any at the time we were doing them, so just used the black to see. I think its almost too plain and was thinking about adding a few little feathers in... but still back and forth on it all.
My sister was a florist all during college and was shocked at how real all these bouquets looked, so that was my biggest complement! The only thing i dont like about silk flowers is that you have to wrap to the end to avoid seeing the metal.
I had picked a few full hydrangeas to use up as a 'test' and since we love how they came out, need to get the rest of them to finish the centerpieces. They all have crystals that will be draped from the flowers, and then I'll have half of them with the curly willow but forgot to take a pic of that. So, these are just going to have to be continued....
I planned to resell all of them anyway, am so happy to know they look real! :)
