Purple Garters- Toss and Keepsake
Hi ladies! I purchased these two garters from Etsy a couple of months ago, but one of my bridesmaids has since bought me a blue one for my "something blue". I paid almost $30 for both garters and I'm selling them both $12+ plus shipping. They are both purple satin with a white organza trim. Please send me a message if you're interested :)

Hi ladies! It's been soooo long since my last post. I still visit the site every once in a while, but planning is kind of at a stand still right now since all the big stuff is out of the way :)
I have a question for you all. A friend of mine is getting married soon and has decided that she wants to have a monogram. I'm not very good at making them (ccranetobe made mine!), but she has asked for my help. She found one she liked not too long ago and saved it, but now she doesn't remember where she found it.... funny, but not very helpful to us right now! I've added the picture here. I was wondering if anyone knows where we could find those flourishes. Or if it's your monogram, maybe you'd like to share how you made it! She has her heart set on this one because it is similar to the invitations she has picked out. |

I have fallen in love with these centerpieces, but I can't seem to find the vases. I did a Google search and came across a few similar ones, but they're all way too short and/or the top part is too small to accommodate the stones and flowers. Does anyone have any like this or do you know where I can buy them?

Have any of you visited Greece?
FH and I have been looking into places for our honeymoon and are interested in visiting Greece. We are unsure of where to visit in Greece and, unfortunately, we don't know anybody who has ever visited there. We know of Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, as those are the major islands. Are there any other islands that are worth visiting?

I am starting to brainstorm possible gift ideas for my bridesmaids and was thinking of buying those Coach wristlets for each of them (as part of the gift). Does anyone know where I can find some for a reasonable price? I am not interested in purchasing a replica; I want the real thing! And I would like them to be the longer style (like shown in the picture). I am located in Canada, so if I order them online, it would have to be a place that ships here.

Are you keeping your maiden name?
I know that most of you ladies are changing your name after you get married, but I was curious to know how many will be keeping their maiden names. I know a name does not define who I am, but this is important to me and I have been giving this a lot of thought and am really torn. On one hand, I would love to share the same last name as my FH, but on the other hand, I have had my name my whole life and part of me wants to keep it. I have also considered just adding his last name to mine (not interested in hyphenating). That way, I get both!
Are any of you WBC brides keeping your maiden names? If so, why did you make that decision (aside from legal reasons- I know some places do not recognize maiden names)? |

I have fallen in love with a shoe by Jessica Simpson. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere, even on eBay. I tried to look for something similar, but am not coming up with anything. Have any of you ladies seen something along these lines? The crystal part is my favourite :)

I was thinking of making pomanders to decorate the church pews, but have a couple of questions before I attempt to make them.
For those of you who are planning to use these, how did you attach them to the church pews? There are no hooks on the pews where I will be getting married. Also, I have noticed that some have made them using styrofoam balls, while others have used those wooden nest ball things (not sure what they're called... haha!). Did you make that choice based on what was available or because one of those is easier to use (i.e. attach flowers to). Any advice would be appreciated! |

I really love the idea of having mint matchbooks available on the dessert table. I found the cutest idea on danibanani09's blog. She made them herself and they turned out great! I found some instructions online, but am not having the best luck in creating them. Does anybody have a template for these that they would be willing to share? I would have loved to ask her, but I don't think she blogs anymore.
