I am now a MRS., and it feels great.

My wedding day was absolutely FABULOUS. I could not have asked for a better wedding. We definietly had a blast and so did my guest. My husband and I are still receiving calls about our day.

I will post pics once I receive them. I have a few non-pro pics that I got off facebook. Can't post them all though.

Personalized Bridal Hanger
I received my bridal hanger a couple months ago, but forgot to take a pic to share with my WBC fam. In the mist of me getting things together I ran across it again and decided to share.

I purchased it from etsy seller rockabuycreations, she was very easy to work with as well as reasonable.

This will be fabulous for my pics!!!

My jumping broom arrived
I received my wedding jumping broom. I really like it. I ppurchased it from ebay seller aprildawncan. I informed her of my colors and theme and she took it from there.

Jumping Broom Ceremony Info:

THE SYMBOLISM:
Jumping the broom symbolizes a new beginning, a welcoming of the new-sweeping away the old, or sweeping away old cares and worries. It represents entering into a new life of husband and wife.

The wooden handle represents the strength of the commitment or the strength of God's presence in the marriage.

The ribbons represent the tying together of two lives.

And the leap symbolizes joyfully taking the leap into married life together.


AT THE WEDDING CEREMONY:
At the end of the ceremony, after the officiate presents the couple as husband and wife, an attendant or special person chosen by the bride and groom places the broom across the aisle. The couple holds hands and jumps over the broom as they walk back down the aisle together.

AT THE RECEPTION: (one variation):

The guests gather in a circle around the couple.

The officiant first explains the symbolism of the broom- the joining of the couple, the combining of two families, the need for the community to support the couple, and the honoring of a rich cultural heritage. Meanwhile the couple may hold the broom handle together and sweep around in a circle.

The groom places the broom on the floor.

Everyone counts, "1, 2, 3... Jump!"

While holding hands, the couple jumps over the broom.

Loving the finished product
The water bottle's were a little hard then I expected.

I used a template already created from a former WBC bride, can't remember who though. SORRY

I purchased the bottle labels from Michael's, over a period of time. Glad that's over.

We had to be very careful when attaching them to the bottles, we had fun with it though.

I bought the baskets from Michaels about a year ago, and added ribbon around it for a lil mock-up.

I finally finished some of the DIY projects that I have been trying to complete months ago. I got some of my girls over and we knocked them out the ballpark. I love them to pieces!!!

This was a very inexpensive project.

I ordered the vellum envelopes from ebay for about $6.
I ordered the labels from vista print for about $24
The ribbon was purchased at Michaels, on sale of course!!!

I also got matching lawn signs from Vista Print, they turned out fab :)

My friend metion that I should add a lil red flower on the top right corner of the label, I will probably finish that this weekend.

Where did you order your candy?
I am in the processing of trying to get the candle together for my candy buffet.

Based on Rhonda's Candy Calculator, I am going to need about 26-27 lbs of candy for my guest.

Before I start looking online tonight, I would like to know if you ladies have any suggestions on where I could get green and brown candy for a resonable price.

I will also be looking in the stores tomorrow.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

I have 30 days left before I say "I DO". I am getting really excited.

Ladies

I REALLY REALLY need your feedback. I found some green glow bracelets in the Dollar Tree, and I figured that I could have them readily available for my guest at the reception. I was thinking that this would aide in the up-lighting of the room.
