Wedding Invitation
Petal fold Invitations Ordered!
Now what? I've been playing around on word thinking it would be easy to just make the invitations but it's not looking exactly as I envisioned. Does anyone know of any free template websites or have any ideas on how to make my invitations come to life? My theme is tropical garden. My colors are tropical enough so I wanted the invitations to have a garden feel to it.

Ok ladies, I guess it's time for me to ask a stupid question, but I just can't help it! I was wondering what recessional music/songs should be about? I thought we were gonna play "we found love in a hopeless place" by Rhianna but now I'm wondering if that should be our entrance [to the reception hall] song? And also how many songs should you play for recessional music? AND should you play a different reception entrance song for each group (ie. bms/gms, mob/fob...)

What time will your ceremony Begin???
Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening [depending on location] ladies! Just wanted to ask a few questions! First off what time will your ceremony begin??? Mine will start at 6pm. I figured that's the least I can do considering the fact that August is one of the hottest months ever! Also I was wondering what type of food you would serve with a late ceremony??? My mother-in-law insists that I just serve appetizers because no one is going to really feel like eating a full meal that late. My caterer was going to serve baked chicken, ham, mac and cheese, rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac and cheese with rolls. In my opinion, a lot of people come to weddings just to get some good food, so I think if these guests know that they will be attending a wedding why would they eat beforehand?

Candy or Cookies???
Hello all! I've been thinking I wanted to do a candy buffet from the time I start planning. But know I'm second guessing it. Why? Because those candy buffets really can add up. And for some reason I just feel like I'm gonna over order and that a lot of people will skip on the yummy treats! Instead I would like to have flower shaped cookie favors. Maybe with two different types of cookies. So let's take a vote please!

New Centerpiece inspiration
Hello ladies! Hope you're having a great Saturday! Anyways I've been trying to make my first centerpiece idea work since I waited too late to return the vases and this is what I came up with(2nd pic) The only problem is that I now have hot pink tablecloths. But I don't think it would look too bad with them. another thing is the bow... I'm going to have a thicker piece of ribbon and not tie it in a bow. and I will put some votive candles around them. So what do you think? And the back two vases will have flowers (Even though I kinda like it without also) The second pic is my second centerpiece idea for the other tables. 6 tables with one and 6 with the other.

All- Inclusive!
A few months back I went to a bridal show where I later found out that I had won an all inclusive trip! 3days and 2 nights. All we had to do was attend this presentation where of course they tried to get us to buy something ( which we almost did lol). But anyways we were still able to redeem our trip. We get to choose from one of the follwing 7 places:
1)Punta Cana, 2)Playa Dorada(Dominican Republic), 3)Cozumel (Mexico) 4)Neuvo Vallarta (Mexico), 5)Playacar (Mexico), 6)Xcaret (Mexico), or 7)Costa Rico. Oh yeah and we would have to pay the airfare, which is an arm and a leg! But besides all of that it just sounds too good to be true. So I was wondering has anyone else been offered anything like this or has anyone been to any of these places???? If so please share your experience! |

Good Morning ladies!
Well I've been trying to get the ceremony organized in my mind and accept the fact that I may not have as many groomsmen as we thought we would bring the Girl to Guy ratio displeasingly uneven! So far with only 88 days to go, all of my girls have put their dress deposits down. The guys, however have been slacking! Only one of the 4 or 5 guys has put forth his deposit. It really pisses me off to know that his best man has not even put a deposit down! They were suppose to have this done by like April 11th! And then we have one guy that's not sure if he'll be able to be in it due to work (understandable) But in my mind I still wish he would put down some sort of deposit since he won't know til July 1st. But with all of that being said here's my concerns: I was going to have the guys and girls walk together down the aisle. But with none of the guys paying up I'm not sure who's gonna actually be in there. I think at least 2 more guys will pay up soon, So maybe I'll have 3 guys and 4 girls. But anyways what I'm thinking now is to just let the guys come out with fh and let the girls walk down by themselves. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? And then my other concern is who should walk the mothers and grandmother out? If I end up with only 3 gms then I suppose they can do it???? How are y'all doing it???? I need to know! |

I was just browsing the net (like I'm so addicted to doing now) for more wedding ideas and I think I really wanna make some fan programs since the ceremony is going to be outside in the middle of the summer.
