Changes.Changes.Changes
So with these months I had to think about a lot and I thought that I was completely happy with all my wedding decisions but I wasn't...I was more indecisive lol. But these past few months I’ve had time to think and I’m changing a lot with this wedding. I did a little research, talked to my family and friends and I decided to go with a clothing that more towards my culture. So browsing the web and came across this beautiful dress (it comes in my wedding color so no worries). I love everything about it and its very different and I want to wear it at the wedding reception. And I’m still on the brawl looking for a different head piece to put on the dress I already have to make it pop. And my mother –in-law has been such a big help and I can’t thank her enough. But you never know I may just change up the wedding dress to cause I have seen some interesting pieces lol. Tell me what all you Future brides think.

Bridal Routine
Uh-oh Crunch time...
The secret to wedding day beauty is to get prepared early on. Have those deep conditioning treatments, facials, manicures, and trial hair sessions done months before your big day. Here's how:
6 MONTHS BEFORE Begin your search for a hairstylist and/or makeup artist you like and trust. Have all your haircut and color experiments done now. Begin weekly deep conditioning treatments. Consult a dermatologist for skin problems. Research and invest in a skin-care regimen. Work out to improve overall energy level and confidence. If possible, indulge in a monthly facial. If you have light or bleached hair, limit or avoid contact with heavily chlorinated water. 5 MONTHS BEFORE If your nails are short, begin growing them out or consider acrylic tips and silk wraps. If possible, start monthly manicures and pedicures. 4 MONTHS BEFORE With your wedding dress in mind, work out target areas: decolletage, arms, and waist. 3 MONTHS BEFORE Have your hair trimmed every four to six weeks. Make an appointment to preview your wedding hairdo. Make an appointment to have your teeth cleaned the week before your wedding. 2 MONTHS TO 6 WEEKS BEFORE If you are planning to wear acrylic nails, experiment with lengths now. Research and schedule teeth bleaching. Research and schedule trial makeup sessions with your makeup artist. Research and schedule trial hair session, complete with veil and headpiece, with your hairstylist. 1 MONTH BEFORE Have a trial makeup session with your makeup artist. Have a trial hair session, complete with veil and headpiece, with your hairstylist. Start drinking plenty of water -- eight glasses a day, at least! If you are coloring or perming your hair for the wedding, do so now. Purchase and test your wedding day skin, hair, and makeup products. 2 WEEKS BEFORE Have a facial (only if you've had them regularly). Have your hair cut or trimmed. Touch up your hair color or highlights. Keep drinking plenty of water. Go to bed an hour earlier than usual every night. 1 WEEK TO 10 DAYS BEFORE Have your eyebrows shaped. Have your upper lip waxed. Have a bikini wax. Call your hairstylist and find out when you should wash or deep condition your hair. If you do so just before your wedding, your hair may be "too clean" to style, particularly if you are wearing an updo. Have your teeth professionally cleaned by your dentist. 1 DAY BEFORE Have a manicure and pedicure. Have a massage. Gently exfoliate or polish your skin, especially your decolletage and arms. Apply extra moisturizer -- everywhere! Take a nap. Drink two extra glasses of water. Prepare a beauty emergency kit containing: -Lip gloss -Cotton swabs -Cotton balls -Makeup remover -Moisturizer -Bobby pins -Hair spray -Translucent powder -Brush and comb -Eye drops -Nail polish YOUR WEDDING DAY Give yourself plenty of time to get ready. Eat nourishing, healthy meals. Have light, healthy, and nonstaining snacks on hand for you and your bridesmaids while you get ready. Take plenty of deep breaths. Relax. Smile -- you're getting married! |

Reception Menu
Yes beautiful brides I am a Muslim. So there are some restrictions on foods that i must follow: Halal means ‘permissible’ in Arabic. So, Muslims cannot eat foods that are not ‘Halal’.
Similar to Jewish Kosher laws, Muslims cannot eat any pork or pig meat. Also, like Kosher, an animal must be slaughtered while it is still alive. Also, under Halal, Muslims cannot consume any alcohol, even if it was used to prepare food. My Menu: Appetizers: Maryland jumbo lump crab cakes & Seared Maine Diver scallops Soups: Maine lobster bisque & Roasted pear and Almond soup Salad: Spinach and frisée salad & Ashland farm greens and grape tomatoes Entrée: (all served with fresh seasonal veggies) Chicken Paillard Organic Irish salmon with spinach and feta cheese "En Croute" Grilled Filet Mignon |

Ask a Question
Should Still Have Privacy When Marriage?
I posted this question after having an interesting discussion with my fiancée. We both came down to the conclusion that it all boils down to TRUST. Come on ladies we've all been in a relationship where we date someone and if our phone went off to much or we walked out of the room to talk our ex's would say, "Who is that girl? Why You gotta walk outta the room? You got something to hid?" LOL. I feel that trust is a major factor in any relationship weather it be friendship or your personal relationship. I mean who wants to go through that again? When you married I feel that you should be open about. but then there are a few little you want to keep to yourself and i think that there nothing wrong with that long as its nothing vitally important
...so ladies give me your input on the topic? |

Identity Theft!?
This is a little to much
So I was online yesterday adding people looking at different things and so I see this one girl her picture seem interesting so i decided to give her page a look. Once I go on her page I see that she STOLE everything from mine from my proposal story, dress, picture everything!!!!! So I'm really Upset by this and I'm trying my best not to go off because I'm very lady like and i conduct myself as such. So i decided to get online today and write her and turns out her page is gone. BUT I'M STILL MAD BECAUSE SHE WAS POSING!!!! I soooo hate this I'm a very unique person and i pride myself in standing out and she take all my stuff?!
UGH! Has this happened to anyone else????! |

Bride Diet
Uh Oh
Okay so since me and my fiancée been together I've gained 20pd. My mom calls it the happy weight...I call it a MESS!!!!!! I Hate it because I'm short I'm only 5'1 and i weight a 150pd that soooooooooo not cute. I've been hitting Bally's working with the personal trainer I've even changed my eating habits I back slide every now and then but when i open that closest and see that dress i know its a must. so i found some helpful information that i think might help others in my situation
If you're looking for bridal diets that work, you don’t want to fall for the get-thin-quick schemes that could cause your face to look too gaunt; flatten your hair; produce a lifeless skin tone; and bring brittle nails. Instead, consider the following tips in order to establish your own bridal diet that takes into account not only your walk down the aisle, but also your overall health: High-Fiber Foods Pile on the fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans that deliver a decent dose of fiber. When choosing carbohydrates while on a quest to lose weight, the ones with a lot of fiber bring the best results because in addition to being full of nutrients, they are also quite filling. I bet you didn’t know that foods with a lot of fiber also help slow the absorption of carbohydrates, creating consistent blood sugar levels. Your benefit? Less food cravings! Say 'No' to Refined Sugars Bridal diets for losing weight usually moderate the amount of refined sugars eaten. This means that you should limit your intake of candy, baked sweets, and soda. The more sweet foods consumed means the higher your chances are for falling victim to food cravings. Pair Regular Exercise with Low Calorie Intake Bridal diets are nothing without the burning of calories. Ideally, in order to lose weight, you need to find a healthy balance between the number of calories you consume and your daily exercise. To enjoy steady and stable results in weight loss – it is suggested to reduce your average daily caloric intake by 20% or so. Pair this bridal diet tip with routine exercise and watch the pounds melt away. Include All Food Groups In order to efficiently burn calories, it is important to receive all of the vitamins, fatty acids, amino acids, minerals, and other nutrients necessary to lose weight and maintain your health. This means you should include items from each food group, which will also help combat overeating that comes from being bored with a bland diet. Whether you join a gym, work out with friends, or consult a nutritionist on the best bridal diets, you can follow the above tips to help you stay on track for losing weight the healthy way. |
